I have Java installed, but when I open oekaki it says I don't. I have the latest version and I have checked multiple times.

Just upgrade Oekaki to 2.0, it solved all of my problems with it. I don't have the link,but you can ask a staff member.

Are you sure you're selecting the right layer when coloring? The artist labeled each layer very nicely so it's easy to tell what's on each layer. Also, make sure you are checking the "lock alpha" box at the top of the layers window. This makes it so that you can color in without going outside the lines c:

Have you restarted your computer after installing? Sometimes the installation won't kick in until you restart your computer. c:

are you using google chrome? java doesn't work with google chrome ;o;
