Foxstripe stretched out as she woke up that morning, her claws flexing back and forth to get the sleepiness out of them. She noticed Fernstar just minding her own business, looking at the clouds. She smiled softly, and made her way over to her. "Good morning, Fernstar," The amber and black tabby mewed, sweeping her tongue across her white chest fur. Her pale green eyes were fixed on the leader. "How are you?"

The large tabby tom turned his head to Echowhisker, dipping his strong head. "Hello, Echowhisker, He mewed, his tail swaying back and forth. "What can I do for you?"

"Nothing, really. Just wanted to talk to someone, I guess." He replied, shuffling his small paws, his olive green eyes looking up at Bramblewhisker.

Fernstar looked down at Foxstripe and smiled. She climbed down the tumbledown rocks to greet the warrior. "Good morning, Foxstripe. I'm quite alright," the leader mewed as she bounded up to the fæ. "Apart from the fact I must chose a deputy before moonhigh." The leader sighed, looking around at her warriors.


Threeleg opened his eyes. It was still early, but the tom was awake now, so he wouldn't be able to sleep again. He got up, shifting his body so he was sitting up, and groomed his chest fur. The cool air around him sent a sudden shiver down his spine, but when he limped out of the den, it was more refreshing than cold.


Juniperfrost blinked open her eyes. The den was surprisingly warm compared to outside. The fæ wasn't one to sleep in, so it was normal for her to be awake even though it was hardly dawn. She yawned and left the den, sitting down to groom her tuxedo tabby fur with swift rasps of her tongue.


Sparrowpaw growled as the mouse escaped his grasp. He gasped as it turned around and transformed into the biggest dog Sparrowpaw had ever seen. The apprentice sprinted through the woods until he broke into camp. His eyes flung open and he was in his nest. It had all been a dream. With a sigh of relief, the apprentice got to his paws and groomed his ruffled fur before padding outside to be greeted by a gentle breeze.


Aquilo picked his way carefully through the undergrowth, following a familiar scent trail. It was mouse. The scent lead him to a small hazel bush, where the small brown creature was digging. The loner crouched, eyeing his prey carefully before leaping. He caught the mouse firmly between his claws before settling beside the bush to eat it. Aquilo had been awake for some time, and his hunger had lead him to hunting. The mist had made it harder to catch a scent, but he'd managed a successful hunt.
