Can we Keep it?
The squirrels that are available for adoption will say so on their picture. All squirrels (excluding customs) are free of cost! To adopt a squirrel click on the squirrel and follow the adoption directions that the artist has posted. This could be a competition of some sort - its up to the artist how they want their squirrel to find a home. If a squirrel is not adopted by the end date set by the artist, he will roam the park for another two days before he can go up for adoption again. During this period staff can choose to adopt the squirrel.

About The Squirrels
Each squirrel here in Central Park is unique. Some are grey and some are brown, but there are some specific details to be aware of.
Some squirrels wear a bottle cap on their head. This can look quite funny, but to a squirrel is signifies rank - these squirrels are not to be messed with. When looking to adopt a bottle capped squirrel be sure to only pet him with the highest respect.
Other squirrels have watches around their necks. These squirrels are very important to other squirrels, but not very high in rank. These squirrels keep watch over the territories and make sure there is no trespassing between they drays.
The senior squirrels often have cataracts or cloudy eyes. These squirrels have no rank with the other squirrels, even though, they are highly respected.
You will see some squirrels in the park that have injuries, such as a missing ear, bald patch of fur/scar, ect. These squirrels usually acquire these battle scars from guarding the territory in a very heroic and selfless manor. These squirrels might be harder to tame due to their scarred views of unfamiliar guests.
