You know what a good site GivesMeHope is? Truely wonderful, and I'd say tick free. I go to this site a lot when I have no faith in humanity and it can really help. But then there's MLIA which has a few more ticks, still funny though.

I tell people that I almost never cry. I hadn't cried in ages, until I went to that site. I really didn't think those stories could be so touching. :3
Chat-Speak really butchers anything, mainly the appearance of intelligence is destroyed...

My brother uses a lot of chat-speak. D: We were on Skype and I couldn't understand a word he said. >_> So, I kept trying to correct everything he typed, which ticked him off... xD

Yeah, I'm alright with basic chatspeak. But I hate seeing people that think they're cool by writing like:

Nice. I ramble on about puntuation and such to my friends that use chatspeak. One is a n00b that doesn't have any idea she's using it. -_- It really ticks me off. I want to slap her so hard then.
