"Ugh." Riley sipped his coffee, rubbing his face again. "How long will we be there?" He asked, trying to push down the anxiety he felt at the thought of riding a horse.

"Maybe a day, if that." Torrence said, sipping his coffee.

He kept walking, not turning around once. "Yes. Danger."

Diana followed quietly, unsure what else yo do or say.

He finally stopped, still not looking at her. "You know what I thought happened to you?!" He was angry; and that led to a slight outburst.

Diana jumped, suddenly frightened, "What?" she asked so softly it was almost a whisper.

Riley sipped his coffee, pondering the journey ahead of them. "When do we leave?" He asked, glancing over at his mentor.

He didn't raise his voice at all, but his words themselves were forceful. "I thought someone took you. I almost shot you Diana. Do you know what that means?" He didn't give her time to answer. "I don't miss, Diana. You wouldn't have recovered from that." He started walking again, heading towards the cabin.

Diana glanced at Tanner, not sure what to do. She wasn't going inside for a while, that was for sure.

Swirling the last of the coffee around in the cup, Riley sighed, finishing it off. "Might as well get going." He huffed, standing. He was still sore from the incident with the carriage, but it wasn't that bad anymore.
