"N-no...everything is fine.."she sniffled looking at her reflection.

"You can tell me." He said gently.

"Was I meant to be in your clan?" She mewed.

[sheepy.]

Ashstar

"At first I thought not, but now I realize that you have the heart of a true warrior." He said.

He 'burrowed' himself under Featherpaw, then stood up, carrying her on his back. He looked around for a second, then dashed off towards camp, still making sure she didn't fall off.

Cloudpaw looked at her mentor with beaming green eyes. "I'm just a cat of no other, a cat that cannot rescue her own self, a disgrace," she said.

"Your not a disgrace. A lot of cats think that and then they go into a pit a darkness that they never come out of. But you are strong enough not to go into the pit." He said looking at her.

Cloudpaw didn't respond. Instead she looked at herself. Her green eyes shone in the water.
