"Yeah." Copperpaw mewled, hastening her pace when the sound of rushing water in the distance grew louder, her tail flicking behind her as she dashed ahead.

"Really? Wow, I'm going to give that a try!" she mewed, picking up the nuts and waving her tail in thanks as she trotted out of the den. Spotting her mentor, she trotted over to her and dropped the cob nuts. "Stormberry! Littleheart said crushing one of these outside of a prey-den would draw them out! You want to go try it?" She hadn't figured out why she hadn't learned much hunting from Stormberry that far, but she had hardly noticed that what she knew she learned from her brother and other cats.

Rosepaw dashed after Copperpaw happily, stopping where he could feel the spray of the water and breathing in, relaxing happily. He glanced at Copperpaw. "You sure the fish don't mind all this noise?" He called to her over the roar of the falling water, his fur slowly getting more damp as he stood under the spray.

"Well, I wouldn't know personally. Why don't you ask them?" She said sarcastically, trotting a few fox-lengths downstream where the current was weaker. She walked up to the water, stepping in cautiously and staring down at the water wordlessly as she waited for the fish to deem her passive and swim by her.

Echostream looked around, nobody was nearby her in the camp, so she sat down and started to groom her self

Rosepaw laughed as he followed Copperpaw down, standing some distance away from her so that his splashes wouldn't bother her fish. He stared at the silvery flashing bodies as they slowly approached him. He fought not to shiver from cold as the spray, the wind churned up by the falling water and the cold liquid up to his belly made him dream about his cozy nest inside the hollow tree. His paw flashed forward as he flipped a fish onto the bank, the impact killing it.

Patchpelt looked uncertain. "Well, maybe if you've been practicing all your life," he mewed apprehensively. "How do you start?" He asked, straightening up and trying to look more confident than he felt. He hoped that Darkheart couldn't smell the faint fear-scent coming from him. "Well, I mean after climbing a tree." He added quickly, before going to claw his way up a large, sturdy tree that was in a dense patch of trees.

Copperpaw glanced at Rosepaw's successful catch almost longingly before looking back to the water, seeing a slow-swimming juvenile pike. She lunged at it, her claws baring into the water, but missing the fish. She muttered out a light curse when she felt a small, yet sharp, rock cut shallowly into her front pad upon landing. She lifted the paw out of the water, inspecting it for a moment before licking it thrice and returning to her original standing position, staring down into the water once more, ignoring the bearable, yet irritating stinging sensation from her paw.

The tricolor tabby exhaled heavily, trotting out of the Medicine Den and glancing up at the sun which was nearly in the center of the sky, slightly off to the west. She closed her eyes, keeping her head turned up to the warm sunlight before sitting, her thick tail laying by her thigh, twitching with content as she sat.

She padded over to Echostream and sat down next to her. "How are you doing?" she meowed stretching out then settling back down

Echostream nodded, "That seems alright", and got up and bowed her head to SmokeStar, "I'l go find Duskpaw, i haven't seen her anywhere today" then padded off searching left and right for her apprentice
