The calico rolled over, turning to face Rosepaw. "No, thanks for offering." She said before she rolled onto her back, sprawling herself on the den floor carelessly. "How'd that race thing with Littleheart go?" She asked, her eyes not bothering to meet the tom's as she spoke.

"Yeah, he sure does have a bit of an ego, but he has good-intention." Littleheart mewled, agreeing with the younger she-cat. "And no, I don't need any help. Feel free to help if you wish, though." She said, stretching. "Oh, and feel free to take your reward any time." She meowed as she stood, gently picking up a portion of the cobnuts, trotting into her den and gingerly placing them with the other nuts that she had stored.

Copperpaw||Apprentices' Den, Camp||Tagged: Rosepaw
Copperpaw stretched her paws in the air as she lay on her back, clawing at the air between her and the ceiling absent-mindedly as she spoke. "Yeah, I don't really like hanging around Littleheart as is. Sorry that you lost, but hey, at least if you end up getting injured she'll have what she needs to help." She mewled, twisting her tail and turning herself as she clawed at the air pointlessly.

"Yep, be careful, there's some nightshade right next to there, I don't want you eating them." She said, gesturing to the three small, dark berries that still hung from their stems next to where the apprentice stood. She trotted out of the den for a moment, gathering the rest of the cobnuts before sauntering lazily back into the den and placing them among the others. She picked up three and placed them at the apprentice's paws. "For hunting, if you crush those and leave them outside of burrows you can lure out prey more easily." she explained before walking past the apprentice, carefully grasping the stem of the nightshades with her maw and relocating them to an empty corner of the den.

Rosepaw shrugged. "I don't plan on being injured. I plan on being a good warrior." He sighed, burying the scraps of his fish. "What about you, did you have an interesting morning?" he asked, rolling onto his back and staring at the sky peeking through the hole in the side of the tree that made the entrance of their den.

"Really? Wow, I'm going to give that a try!" she mewed, picking up the nuts and waving her tail in thanks as she trotted out of the den. Spotting her mentor, she trotted over to her and dropped the cob nuts. "Stormberry! Littleheart said crushing one of these outside of a prey-den would draw them out! You want to go try it?" She hadn't figured out why she hadn't learned much hunting from Stormberry that far, but she had hardly noticed that what she knew she learned from her brother and other cats.

"Well, all I did was hunt for a while, sleep, and avoid Littleheart... But I guess it was fine." The calico mewled, continuing to roll on her back as she spoke. "Hey, your sister is Emberpaw, yet you look almost nothing alike... Can I ask why that is? If not, it's fine. I don't want to pry." She asked. She was genuinely curious and wanted to continue the conversation as an excuse to stay in the den and not go back out to hunt.
Littleheart||Medicine Cat's Den > Going to > Waterfall||Tagged: N/A ~Open~
Littleheart watched the younger she-cat run off before she lazily wandered out of her den, trotting out of the camp as she made her way to the waterfall. She wanted to collect more of the multicolored berries she had found to experiment, as she was curious about their diverse coloration and their effects on cats. There was a chance they could be poisonous, but she had plenty of Stinging Nettle if it did happen to be a poisonous species.

Rosepaw shrugged. "Our parents didn't look much alike either." he mewed. "I mean, my mom was black with amber eyes, and was kind of thin and small, while my dad was a ginger tabby like me, but with green eyes, and he was bigger. So we got our colors and such from them, I guess, me being a ginger tabby like my dad and my sister having both of their colors. So I guess just by color it's hard to tell we're siblings, but we have similar features, like ear shape, but it's hard to tell without having us stand next to each other."

Copperpaw nodded as she rolled back onto her stomach, gently folding her legs under her as she stared at Rosepaw, examining his features. "Yeah... I can see some similarities, but other than that, I see clean nothing." She said. "Well, I'm going to go and fish for a while, feel free to tag along if you want." She invited, not waiting for Rosepaw's reply as she stood, stretching before she trotted out of the den and towards the waterfall.

The stocky cat sauntered through the forest lazily as she searched for the berry she decided to call Porcelain berries. She soon saw a mat of the vine at the root of a tree and sniffed the berries, being sure to remember the scent. She selected a portion of the vine and separated it from the rest before trotting back to the camp with the woody vine in her maw, dragging against the forest floor gingerly.

"Eh, to be completely honest, I'm just judging a book by it's cover. I don't speak with her often, but when I do she tends to try to trick me into doing things for her or to play a game with her. I understand that being a medicine cat can be boring at times, but we all have things we need to do if we want to become Warriors." She replied flatly, "If only this clan had some kits, then she could bother them." She mewled with a heavy, exasperated sigh. "By the way, do you happen to know where Emberpaw went? I saw her with you and 'Kisu' earlier, but I haven't seen her since then." Copperpaw inquired, referring to the medicine cat as Kisu, her nickname for the child like she-cat.

The tricolor tabby placed the vine down in the center of her den, staring at it for a moment before she trotted over to her herb stock, picking out a Stinging Nettle and placing it down beside the vine. She cautiously picked a berry from the vine, chewing it before swallowing it warily. She found it sweet and not at all harmful, and ate another before placing the Nettle back in its original place and stripping the vine of it's berries, placing those in a new pile, deciding she would test it's effects when a cat was injured.
