Darkstalker padded through the forest claws unsheathed fully alert for any possible, Lizardpaw unsheated her claws and tasted the air prepareing her self for any attack.

Rosepaw's concerns assuaged, he raced ahead, the camp coming into view. He weaved in through the back entrance He had followed Littleheart through, bursting into camp only to be greeted by the sight of his sister depositing her herbs in front of the medicine den, her sweaty flanks heaving as she fought to call down her breathing after her long run.

Emberpaw grinned at her dumbfounded brother, still panting after her nonstop run back to camp. "That, was, close!" She remarked. "If I'd slowed down at all you would've beaten me."

Rosepaw suddenly mentally cursed his suspicious attitude toward Littleheart as he put his cache of herbs next to hers. "Good game, I suppose."

"Cheer up, Rosepaw, that was a hard win for me." Emberpaw mewed, licking the top of her brother's head.

Patchpelt had been spending a little time hunting, which he liked to do alone as a good solitary activity when he heard a crash. He ran towards the noise, cautiously stopping to make sure it wasn't something dangerous before he approached. "Darkheart! Are you alright?" He mewed, approaching his deputy with a respectful head-dip.

Patchpelt nodded. "What were you doing?" He asked curiously. "You're not normally the type to go crashing into thorn bushes." His two differently-colored eyes, part of the reason he normally preferred being alone, shone with the curiosity of the personality he'd repressed.

"Wha- you mean, like a squirrel?" Patchpelt asked. "Jumping from branch to branch, between trees? That's incredibly dangerous!" Patchpelt suddenly looked concerned. "No wonder you crashed. Are you sure you're alright? No broken bones, or anything?"

"Well," Patchpelt said uncertainly. "I don't know. It still seems pretty dangerous. Why do you even do it?" Sure, he could see the tactical advantages in a fight, but beyond that there didn't seem to be much purpose in it, at least from his point of view.
