Littleheart||Forest||Tagged: N/A
Littleheart lifted herself, stretching before inhaling deeply, sorting through the scents of the forest, being sure to disregard the scent of the mint and faint Chamomile from her stock, as she searched for the scent of Chamomile. She circled the rock for a moment before stopping at the western side of the stone, noticing that the scent was strongest there. She walked in the direction of the scent, deciding she would preserve her energy for the run back to the camp. She soon arrived at a small clearing, where four of the sweet-smelling herbs grew around a lone maple that rested in the center of the clearing. She smirked as she grasped the herbs, mentally counting how many more she would need—four—as she made her way back to the stock.

The calico nodded at Stormberry's receding form, almost relieved that the Warrior had declined. She let out a light mewl to herself for a moment before trotting off into the forest to hunt mice, speeding to a lazy dash when she knew the camp was out of sight.

The stocky medicine cat quickly dashed back out into the clearing she had found, she had a feeling that there would be some hidden among other herbs, and after searching under a mat of Porcelain berry, she found she was correct. Alas, there was only one small bud under the thicket. She grabbed at it greedily, harvesting some of the berry while she was there, deciding she could experiment with it. She left the clearing with a generous amount of berries and a single Chamomile, storing them back at her stock before trotting out in a new direction, East. The scent of Chamomile was weakest when she turned east-bound, but that didn't stop the tricolor tabby. She sped to a lazy dash, following the faint scent before emerging at the waterfall. She mentally clawed herself for this, she had ignored the scent of the fishy water, but she had inadvertently ignored the scent of Chamomiles near the water. She stared at the Chamomile lining the shore with gleaming eyes, but only took three, deciding her find would be unfair for the others. "One more." She said, smirking faintly as she trotted back.

The apprentice yawned for a moment before freezing when a sudden scent wafted to her, squirrel. She lowered herself into a stalking position as she crept towards the scent before a small, brown squirrel came into her line of sight. She snuck as close as she dared, staying a rabbit hop away. She sat, scanning the animal's movements before lowering herself once more, her hind quarters swaying side-to-side gently for a moment before she pounced on the animal, easily grasping and killing the creature. She haughtily raised her tail in triumph before turning back towards camp, carrying the small animal in her maw victoriously.

The tabby let out a light, cheerful laugh as she gently tucked the found Chamomiles in her stock, making sure the mint still hid the scent before trotting Northbound, arriving at an old maple tree. She circled the tree a few times before making a small, defeated mew when she found nothing. She dashed to another tree, repeating the process and finding nothing once again. She let out a light sigh before repeating her cycle, repeatedly circling trees and repeatedly finding nothing.

Rosepaw - tom - apprentice - tagged: Forest, Littleheart
Maybe they'll be more abundant closer to the water...? Rosepaw thought, racing toward the nearest section of stream. Upon reaching the bank, he looked both ways. Spotting bright petals, he padded upstream, careful not to slide in. He could swim, but it would hurt and he wouldn't appreciate being wet for a while. He snatched up the bright flower and leaped up the bank, racing back toward his stash, his heart pounding with adrenaline.
Emberpaw - she-cat - apprentice - tagged: in the forest, Copperpaw
Emberpaw pounded through the forest, eyes peeled, which was lucky, as it let her spot Copperpaw before she crashed into the other apprentice. "Hi Copperpaw!" She greeted cheerfully. "Hunting patrol?" She asked, sniffing around for other cats.
Smokestar - she-cat - leader - tagged: Stormberry
Smokestar was restless, having sent out patrols and therefore not having anything else to do for a while. Spotting Stormberry, she trotted cheerfully out to greet her warrior. "Feel like a little hunting?" She asked.
All that is gold does not glitter;
not all those who wander are lost;
the old that is strong does not wither;
deep roots are not reached by the frost.

The calico blinked at her fellow Apprentice for a moment before realizing that she was being spoken to. She nodded at the She-cat, placing the limp animal down to speak. "Yeah, I'm dropping off this and then going to fish by the waterfall." She mewed, "What about you?" She asked, tilting her head to the side as she spoke.

The medicine cat was now slightly panicky, and dashed to a small sapling, letting out a gleeful mewl to herself when she noticed a single Chamomile sprouting next to the small tree. She ripped the flower out of the soil and sprinted to her stock, mentally cheering herself on as her stocky build bounded across the uneven forest floor.
