He just watched the two conversate and leaned against the truck "you know we will always support you in every decision you make Clarissa. Yeah, it's going to be tough for a little but you'll be back, hopefully. " He let out a long sigh "you know where we live stop by sometime." He spit out some dip "maybe adopt another dog." He laughed as Clyde grumbled.

Aurora whinned from her pasture and restlessly pawed the ground. She was bored of being by herself with nothing new to do. She continued to dig into the ground tearing up a hole.

Lilly had guessed that Owen had saw Clarissa, at least now she didn't have to keep another secret.
"I need to get some work done for once.." She though. But, Lilly got distracted.. Again.

Clarissa finally smiled. "All right Owen, I'll ask Lilly to do all the paperwork while I'm gone so that you don't have to do any," she joked. "And I was promised I'll be back in a few months. Really, they don't need me, but they need my dog. So as long as she is healthy and not injured or anything, I should be right on schedule!" She looked down at her dog who wrapped the leash around her legs. "But then again, look at how she behaves," she teased, unwrapping the leash and shaking her head in amusement. "Can I ask just one more favor of you guys? Can you get Lilly to start cleaning this place up? All I need you to get her to do is to organize the papers on her desk, paint the barn, order more salt licks for the horses, wash the saddle blankets, clean the tack, mop and clean out each dog kennel from top to bottom, change the cat's water and litter boxes, make sure there's more food there too, and am I forgetting anything?"

He folded his arms and laughed "lilly, clean? Alright. I think you would be better off asking owen and I to clean up." He chuckled

Clarissa looked over at Clayton. "Well if she wants to run this place, she has to do it right and get herself off of her swivel chair and phone and start getting to work!" she exclaimed. Laziness had always bothered Clarissa; she couldn't explain it.

"She's been like this since we had gotten engaged. " He told her "is because I do everything for her. "

"Make us a list and I will try to get her to help too. .. Well I will have Clayton nudge and nag utill she helps us get things caught up. I wouldn't want you to come back to a mess." He was starting to get that salty feeling lump inside. Talking about Clarissa leaving. " he started to try and subtly hide his face from everyone.

"With you two around, I'm sure this place will be cleaned up and sparkling!" Clarissa said with a grin. She checked her watch. It was just about time for her to go, as it took her an hour back to her cousin's house to go pick up Grant and his dog. "Keep me updated and I'll do the same. Oh, and that list, I'll email it." She walked backwards to her car. She didn't want to say goodbye but knew she had to leave.

Lilly cleaned up the ink that was on the floor, well, she tried too.
"Pens are silly." She thought as she finally cleaned the ink up.
