Pip who was the only real father figure that Lyra really had and took her in. Lyra likes to cuddle in his big, fluffy tail. He was the one who encouraged her to play music

Ray who is a friendly nurse and teacher for children who is fond of Lyra and taught Lyra how to read music since Miss Ray used to be a musician

and Peach who is a cold-hearted jingle who's heart was warmed up by Lyra. She's Lyra'so neighbor and the unfortunate victim to many of Lyra'so light hearted pranks.

What does she want to be when she grows up?: "I dunno, everyone wants to be a dentist or a nurse, but I just wanna play music and make everybody smile!"

Illnesses: Lyra suffers from something wrong with her stomach, so she misses school often and is often teased by the other kids because she can't go outside because she's sick

What happened to her parents: "mommy was very young when she had me, and my daddy threatened my mommy and my grandpa and grandma were scared for my mommy and me but they were also very angry. My mommy loved me very much and promised that she would find me one day, so she put me in a basket and abandoned me with a letter explaining what I just said. Now I'm just waiting for my mommy to find me! I hope my daddy changed his mind and loves me too now!"

(They will never find her. Her father was arrested and her mother went missing. Her grandparents won't even try to look for Lyra or their daughter but in the end, Lyra is happy with her make shift family)

Why I connect with this character: I'm a musician so as soon as I saw the little bow with the music notes on it, I fell in love with her design and stormed up an adorable personality! I can imagine her playing next to me on my piano, or us playing a duet, her on piano, me on violin. I dunno, she's just a little cutie! I hope she goes to a great home! What a lovely Valentines gift she will be for somebody

Short Story: Why the flute?
One day Cadenza was wandering around the forest,
and she came across a small wooden object.
She had no idea what it was
but she picked it up and fiddled with it.
There was a large rock near by so she sat on it,
and soon discovered the wooden
object was an instrument of some sort.
This sparked her interest,
and and rinsed it off in a nearby stream,
and figured out how to get a sound.
She got very light headed and decided to stop.
She took the instrument home however,
and excitedly played the one note she could get
out a few more times once she was no longer light headed.
After a long day of wandering and excitement,
Cadenza went to bed.
This was the day she discovered the flute.
It was a simple wooden one, an old one,
but she soon began to figure out how it worked.
She fell in love with the instrument,
and with music in general.
This day was the start of her discovering
how to express feeling through sound.
Cadenza aspires to one day play the flute in recitals
for actual people to hear what she feels.

• Why This Song:
This is Syndica's favorite song because
it reminds her of her parents whom she
was told died fighting a war that she
knows nothing about. Her parents will
always be her heroes even if she can't
remember them. The song is fun for
Syndica to play as well.

Personality:
Syndica loves the electric guitar and dapples with the drums from time to time. Just because she is into more hardcore music does not mean she is a hardcore Jingle though. Syndica is as sweet as sugar and she actually likes most any type of music. She absolutely adores her guitar (pictured above) and treats it as a child. Her band members are her family and they hang out all the time. When it's her turn to host the parties there are sweets galore seeing as Syndica likes to bake in her free time. She is a very happy Jingle but is shy and typically keeps to herself. The only time she steps out of her comfort zone is on a stage where she sometimes even sings! Syndica loves napping with the windows open in the fall. She spends her days off reading and occasionally posting on the internet all the while drinking tea and eating treats she baked herself. Rainy days where the sun is shining are Syndica's favorite type of days. Occasionally she draws and sketches but she doesn't think she's very good at it.

Alyanna is a generally considerate Jingle with a touch of shyness - though she tends to hide her facial expressions when a topic starts to upset her. As delicate as she may seem at first, Alyanna has a strong personality that grants her stubbornness, persistence, and perfectionism. With her stubbornness, Al isn't exactly satisfied when she has to do something she doesn't want to do - and even less so when it comes to 'not-getting-her-way'. Additionally, Al's persistence assists her when she wishes to 'get her way' with her "I'm not coming with you until you decide to go somewhere else" or "If you don't follow my suggestion, I really won't be happy", though it doesn't work all the time. Her persistence still helps her to accomplish her set goals, though! Al isn't completely satisfied with just /completing/ her goals, however. After learning to play a new piano piece or learning how to do something new, Al feels the need to be completely perfect in the skill(s) rather than just knowing how to do it/them. Aside from being stubborn, persistent, and wanting to be perfect with her skills, Alyanna loves helping others with every day chores, climbing up trees and observing the natural world around her (especially during spring/summer), listening to music, and thinking. Playing the piano stimulates these interests of hers, as the mood of her pieces and the strength of her tapping on the keys seemingly drags her into a new dimension of thought.
