Soon, a powerful scent hit his nose. "Stop." Darkcloud ordered quietly. He flicked his tail in the direction of a plump mouse. He crouched down, haunches in the air. He silently crawled forward, tail hovering just above the ground. When he was about a tail-length away, he pounced. He landed square on the mouse, killing it instantly with a bit to the neck.

[Smoketail]

"Great catch," Smoketail purred. She saw a squirrel soon, nibbling on an oak nut. She crouched down and stalked toward it until she was right behind it. Then Smoketail pounced and killed it with a scratch to the body.

[readysetride]

"Nice catch." Darkcloud nodded approvingly. "We should bring this back, there are cats waiting to be fed."

[Smoketail]

"Okay," she nodded. "But, um, can you meet me tonight? Here?" Smoketail felt kind of nervous asking.

[readysetride]

Darkcloud looked skeptical for a moment, but then it vanished. "Sure." He replied simply.

[Smoketail]

"Great!!!" she mewed. "Let's go back to camp."

((Should it be night now?))

((If it's okay with everyone,))

Darkcloud padded back into camp, Smoketail right behind him. He dropped the mouse into the fresh-kill pile. He smiled to himself slightly. "It;s growing." He commented.

[Smoketail]

((Okay! So it was the same spot where they hunted, wasn't it?))

Smoketail padded through the night, paws treading on the spongey grass. She felt nervous, but held it in. When she arrived at the clearing, she sat down and waited for Darkcloud.

((Yepp (: ))

Darkcloud padded through the trees, the chilly night air hitting his nose. He smiled. He loved walking through the forest at night. It was so peaceful. But he wouldn't be spending tonight alone. HE came into the clearing to find Smoketail waiting for him. "You came." He meowed, sitting down across from her.

[Smoketail]

"Of course," she purred. "You probably know why I wanted you to come here."
