why do they wear pyjamas?;; Missy loves to wear them all the time because she is an attention hog. She loves to have all eyes on her, and with her plain white coat this makes it hard for her. She loves to get the crowd cheering as she passes by with her pajamas on, it makes her feel special. Missy does get a little overheated after wearing the pajamas, so her fur has to be brushed regularly to keep up with the shedding, and once a year during the summer months she gets a shaving, and allows her fur to slowly grow back in time for the races again. Missy also loves wearing her pajamas at home, she uses it like a security blanket. The pajamas make her feel safe, and she loves to cuddle with them on.

When in races Nanook prefers that she will stick out and be seen by spectators. Nanook loves crowd attention and being loved on by humans. Nanook also has another reason to wear pajamas, Nanook has unusual shorter fur than most sled dogs. She gets super cold easily even though she runs a lot, which is supposed to warm them up. When she runs the wind blows through her fur making her even colder. So her owner decided that they should make her one for her special reasons. Nanook sees the pajamas as a fashion design but also a design to keep her warm. For these reasons she wears pajamas.
