He jumped as well and backed off from the counter, glaring a bit at Harold
"Everything alright mate? The beer too much for you?" He asked and raised an eyebrow while glancing at the drink and back at the man

Harold shook his head, "No, it's alright. Just thought I heard somethin'." He said, though whatever was talking to him still was, and he highly disliked it.

I continue to whisper to you. "Sorry lad, I should've made myself known before frightening you like that. Look to your shoulder"

"Are you trying to make me look like a freak?" He muttered quietly, barely moving his lips so the barman couldn't hear or see that he was talking. Harold turned his head and pretended to be interested in a painting on the wall, but looked at whatever was on his shoulder instead. "I don't think snakes are the problem! Not when I look like I'm having a heart attack because of a fairy thing!" He whispered very quietly.

Androit froze, attempting to quiet the soft ticking sound in his chest. Although humans couldn't hear it unless they were very close to him in a small, quiet room, shifters with excellent hearing could pick it up. His scanner detected two females. One of which appeared to be cradeling their wrist. An injury? Did his laws prevent him from capturing handicapped shifters? No results came up, so he disregarded the idea. Steadily, he readied his weapon, assuring it was lined with his target - her ankle. A short, somewhat loud 'pop' noise sounded, signalling he had fired..

Though nonlethal, the force of a plastic bullet was enough to cause enough pain to temporarily lock the muscles, making his target immobile. He then fired towards the other shifter, intending to hit her ankle as well.

(He could have missed, they could shift to become smaller targets, or anything you want so they can get away. <3 i don't wish to be a powerplayer.)

Vorsicht was in her cave cat napping. Bats were everywhere in this cave, catching bugs and just flying around for no reason. Though Vorsicht didn't mind the bats, she just didn't want anything bigger coming in, even if it was a harmless cat. She was very serious about her territory, it wasn't easy to claim a bear cave as your own.

"Well, why are you here?" He asked her. Harold didn't see why the fairy thing would be here, maybe just to tell him about the snakes but that would be ridiculous and annoying. To him, at least.

Harold had no idea what she meant, if by flora she meant flowers or plants that made no sense, because flowers couldn't talk-or maybe they could?
"Well, what do they say?" Harold asked uncomfortably. He knew the barman would notice soon, you could only pretend look at something and have it not be suspicious for so long.

He looks odd, Kit thought as she continued to squint at the man, but suddenly she saw him begin to aim his gun, or whatever it was, and her eyes widened. "WATCH OUT," Kit yelled as she abandoned the bus stop and ran towards the girls who now appeared to be under attack, but it was too late as she watched in despair as the tall man had already fired the weapon. "RUN!" She yelled at them.
