She slid through the underbrush trying to not make a sound, her eyes were locked on a small mouse nibbling on a seed in between the roots of a large tree. She was so focused on the mouse she didn't notice the wood dove hiding in the nearby bush and when she got to close it shot up into the air sounding off, scaring her and the mouse. She mumbled under her breath as she caught a glimpse of her mouse diving into a small hole. She knew everything around here would have been scared off by that wood dove, so she headed to another part of the forest.

(I just had one heck of a start for today. I heard a boom from outside and when I looked out my window, I saw one of the electric poles was on fire and the power went off. Then I saw a car in a ditch and a few poles knocked down. We realized that someone hit a pole that had the transformer (the box that gives everyone in the district electricity) and it exploded which caused it to be on fire and burned to the ground. So we had no electricity and part of the road blocked off.)
