Social Status: Upper Class

Appearance: Riel is about 6'3" and weighs around 170lbs. He's extremely skinny and has long pale fingers. Despite being in the upper class, he likes to play the piano and violin. He usually wears black clothing and very rarely is seen without his hood up. If you do see him without it up, you'll see long straight chin length black hair and a sharp elfish face. Handsome in a mysterious way, Riel always carries a violin upon his back. He has sharp ethereal blue eyes that glow eerily like a cat's at night.
Personality: Riel, being a preternatural, does not have much of a personality. But I guess you could say that he always appears likes he's indifferent, or lifeless. Riel is actually just a quiet being who prefers to play off in the night, where no one can hear the beauty of his melancholic music. He's rather smart, but tends to play down his intellect. He sees the world through different eyes. To him, he's always watching people struggling to survive in the goals they set themselves. Struggling against a war they created. It saddens him and he often avoids publicity altogether. But he always returns.
History: When Riel was born, he was born into an extremely poor family. They had barely anything, much less a house, and Riel often went hungry. His parents always fought and Riel turned to music to starve of the aching loneliness. It was one night, when he was away from his bickering parents, that a vampire attempted to kill him. In fear, Riel threw his hands out to protect his neck and touched the cold and hard skin of the vampire. It was sudden and shocking. It only took a few moments for both Riel and the vampire to realize that he was no longer a vampire, but a human. In fear, the vampire turned and fled. Riel later learned that he was a preternatural. Astonished, he returned home only to find an empty alley. His parents had vanished, forgetting that they had a son. Disappointed, but not surprised, Riel sought to gain money. He worked every job he could discover until finally, he reached enough to get an education. He started out in Middle class and soon, he rose higher as his potential increased. But Riel refused to go any higher. His childhood life had taught him the pangs of starvation and loneliness and he did not want to loose himself in social democracy. So he became a simple scribe, recording the Aristocracy's arguments and solutions. It was not a pleasing job, but it was extremely hard for him to loose his status and drop to middle class, where he belonged. The people saw his intelligence and wanted to use t. They were frustrated by his stubbornness, but also fearing of his capable skills at torture. He was not proud of what he could do, but he did not think it was wrong. Only sad. He was just very good at many things.
Anything I missed: Nothing really.
