"And I'm a Tachikoma," the ThinkTank said, lowering its weapons as well. The skeleton didn't seem to be openly hostile, not for now anyway, and it could always kill him if he actually was. Bones couldn't do much against steel, so the Tachikoma had a fairly solid advantage against him. "Why did you attack the human? Did you want the Ghost hub?"

Abigail nodded. "No doubt in my mind that there's something down there. Maybe even someone. You can never really be sure. Where to?" She asked, looking up at Dedan.

He woke up and stretched. He got up and walked further into the woods. He found out that he had some ketchup packets inside his hoodie/jacket. He got them out and drank the ketchup. "Ahh nothing like ketchup" He said to himself. He had found some tiny animals like squirrels, raccoons, etc. He didn't feel like getting close to them and kept walking. He hummed to a random song. He finally stopped humming and observed the place he was in. There was a small stream, some tall trees, and some bushes. He enjoyed this sight.He sat down again and watched over this place peacefully. He picked up a stick and drew in some dirt. He drew some designs like swirls and stuff.

Gaster sighed audibly when the weapon was lowered, pupils snapping to Noodle as the human questioned him. Guess they're not going to dust me then.
"I... I didn't mean to... didn't mean to deal so much damage." He warbled, feeling a spark of guilt in his chest that made him screw up his eyesockets in confusion. Guilt? He was feeling guilt for attacking a human? Thank the heavens Asgore couldn't see him now, or he'd be a right laughing stock for his old friend.
He thought about standing, but his own lack of strength and the presence of the humans prevented him from acting out his thoughts. The ground's comfy enough anyway, he rationalized.
He heard one of the robots, Tachikoma, address him, and looked over at it, wincing at it's questioning.
"I..." He paused, unable to justify himself properly, mind racing to find an explanation. "Humans... humans..." He suddenly felt exceptionally self-conscious.
Instead of answering, he let himself be distracted by the second question, reverting to signing to give his now ragged throat a rest. 'Ghost hub?'

The Tachikoma took a moment to respond, mostly because it wasn't used to being spoken to in sign language. Deafness had been pretty much eradicated thanks to cybernetic prosthetics, the only reason it had even been programmed to speak it at all is for interacting with non-cyberized people. It took a while to dredge up those old files. "The sword like object the human was carrying," it said, "I detected several ghost signatures residing within it, at least one, though I could feel more further down inside. I'd need to dive into it to get more information, but as far as I can tell that sword contains the ghosts of several humans, though for what purpose I couldn't say."

the human watched the skeleton introduce himself, and then the others did, too. she wanted to join in on the conversation, but she knew that her frantic signing wouldn't do much. but then the skeleton, gaster, started to sign, and she started to sign to him about herself and the transistor, explaining how the transistor, what tachikoma called the ghost hub, was her lover that was trapped inside the sword she was gripping so tightly. the transistor was silent while she signed, knowing she would signal for a translation of she needed one.

Gaster watched with growing interest as the human, Red, introduced herself, the transistor, and what it contained. His mind brimmed with questions, but he held out until she'd finished. When he finally did reply, it was blunt.
'That's stupid.' He signed with an arrogant snort. 'You're saying he's a ghost? Humans aren't ghosts! Ghosts are monsters, just like skeletons and boss monsters.'
It wasn't to say he didn't sympathize with her, he knew what it was like to loose a loved one, and to end up so close but so far from them, but it seemed ridiculous.
More ridiculous than trying to tear open time and space? A small voice in the back of his head chimed.

"Not a ghost in the sense of a returned spirit of the dead," the Tachikoma explained camly, "where I come from, a Ghost is simply the collection of sensations, reactions, and emotions that makes a human being different from an AI or a robot. It's similar to the archaic concept of a Soul, though Ghosts have been proved to exist, and can even be stored after the owner of the ghost has passed away, hence the name. I assume that this woman's lover is one such case, someone who passes away and had his ghost stored inside that hub for posterity."

Gaster's frown lightened as he understood, it wasn't too disimilar from scattering dust across a meanful object, however... it seemed Gaster still had a lot to learn if human soul's could do that. However, as he processed the Tachikoma's words, his frown reappeared. 'The concept of a soul archaic?! I'll think you'll find my research to be quite up to date! Or.. at least.. it was.' He signed in a flurry, somewhat offended.
