I padded silently through the forest by myself, having decided to go for a leisurely hunt through the snow and mist. At last I caught the scent of a rabbit, and tracked the foot prints in the snow, quickly but quietly, as they were disappearing in the fall of the snow. Finally I spotted a white hare, nibbling on a small patch of grass it had uncovered. Body low to the ground, I crept towards the creature, pausing whenever it stopped to look at it's surroundings. I was careful to stay out of sight, since my brown fun stood out in the white landscape. At last, I pounced, landing beside the rabbit, and grabbed it in my mouth, shaking it to death. I headed back to camp with my catch to eat in the safety of a warm den - I wasn't in the mood to fight a Blackblood over my kill.

I woke up in my den, stretching and giving myself a quick shake before heading outside. I looked around for Vilda, curious to how long it would be until we could go fight those stupid guardians. They were always so cocky, thought they were better than us. I was very willing to get rid of those self righteous fools. At last I spotted the alpha, and approaced her, bowing my head in respect. "Hello, Vilda," I said, not lightly, but not in a dominating way. "I was curious as to when we plan to go maul those naive Guardians?" I spit out the last word, as it left a filthy taste in my mouth. Although I was a Blackblood, I was usually sociable and lighthearted, but I could not STAND guardians, not one bit.

She glanced coldly at Laqueta, eyeing her for a moment. "That will be decided later. And not everyone will be going." She warned. "They'll be hand picked."

I nodded to Vilda once more. "Of course." I left to sit nearby, not wanting to bother the alpha. I looked around, but with nobody nearby, I decided to hunt - if I couldn't kill Guardians, maybe I could kill a deer or something. Anything was better than nothing. Or maybe I could go bother some guardians myself? If I brought a little trophy back, maybe I could join tonight! My tail wagged at the proposal, but I knew if I failed I'd deeply regret it. I decided a hunt was all for now, and bounded off in search for some prey.

practice would do me good." I smiled wickedly,
revealing slightly bloodstained teeth.
Losing the smile, I examined my wound.
"Hey, next time you try to kill me, can you
avoid the scar below my chin? It's a bit tricky to get
cobwebs under there." I muttered, testing a sore paw.
After making sure I was fine enough to go hunting, I stood
and shook dirt off my pelt, already lifting
my muzzle in the air to sniff for prey.
