Momo began walking, with an almost smug grin on his face. Sure told him... He thought. Although, his happiness didn't last very long. The boy felt a strong pull, which caused him to release a small shout. His back was smacked against a nearby tree, causing him to get the air knocked out of his lungs. He stared up, wide eyed at the figure towering above him. Was this...Rei? it couldn't be. This 'creature' was intimidating, and its facial expression resembled something of a demon. Momo desperately tried to pull away, but found himself pinned. His body began to tremble. All he could do was listen.
Suddenly, he felt angry build up. "Shut up!" He managed to get out, but Rei wouldn't stop. He only continued to scream his words of terror. Suddenly, Momo started to feel odd. Not only could he clearly hear Rei yelling at him, considering he was but inches away, but the words seemed to be echoeing in his mind. It was causing a severe head-ache, as well as pain. Momo grinded his teeth, placing his hands on his head. When this first happened, he wasn't sure what it was. But eventually, he caught on. This was Rei's 'special' ability. It came to the point where he could no longer stand it, the pain was getting severe, to the point where it might of actually harmed him.
"GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" He screamed, pushing Rei off of him. Silence lingered, as both boys panted heavily from argueing. Momo felt like attacking Rei, in fact he almost did, but he thankfully snapped back into reality. He soon saw Rei turn, mutter a few things, then head back towards camp. Momo felt his eyes begin to water, and the anger begin to return. "You...You...Idiot!" He shouted. But, Rei was far off enough that he probably didn't hear the shout. Momo wanted to say so much, to argue even longer, but it was too late. Not only that, but if they did argue anymore, they would fight. And, probably bring the group to their attention.
Momo turned, heading in another direction. He had to calm down.
Momo had been walking for some time, alone. He had thankfully calmed down a bit, but still was extremely irritated and angry. Maybe he should go talk to Kaoru? but even if he did, would Rei interrupt? Probably. Either way, he was going to try. Momo entered the group camp grounds, seeing Rei had already started a fire, like he was supposed to help do. He glanced left and right, trying to spot the tall black haired leader. He started walking again, his eyes peeled. No Kaoru. Wherever he was, Momo didn't feel much like searching everywhere for him anyways. The red haired boy spun around, exiting the camp grounds. He began wandering. Another thought came to his mind, I could always talk to Seiji... He shook it off. Seiji wouldn't want to hear anymore of my crap.
Momo stopped. He turned left and right, suddenly realizing he had no idea where he was. Not only that, but it was now night. Pitch dark, and in the middle of the forest. He groaned loudly, throwing his arms up in frustration. "JUST MY LUCK!" He shouted. The boy let his body fall to the ground, and a 'pouty' expression appeared on his face. He stared down at the ground, which looked much like an abyss in the dark. Shadows looming over him. "What the hell was wrong with him anyways. Its not like he loves Kaoru. He's probably just flirting with him, playing with him. Once Kaoru gives in, he'll break his heart." Momo pounded his fist against the ground, "I can't let that happen. I have to protect him."
At that moment, a small noise erupted from a few yards away. Momo jumped, now facing the direction. He stood up quickly, glancing left and right. "Hello...?" He asked, a bit shakily. No answer came. But he had the strange feeling someone was there. Momo took a few steps back, eyes widened and heart racing. Run Momo. His demon finally spoke. Did my demon really just speak to me? without me entering the realm??? This was a bad sign. A bad sign indeed. Because, through all the years Momo had been contracted, this his demon had never done. Momo turned, kicking up his heels and beginning to run. But, he failed. The boy fell to the ground, something grabbing hold of his leg. It began violently dragging him towards itself. Momo shouted, perhaps even screamed. But, he was too far away from the group for anyone to hear anything. The boy disappeared into the darkness, without a single trace.
