The buildings were finally in view from the path's ending, and it seemed to be a sort of town. That must have meant that there was for sure people residing here, then. Maybe even people who were lost like them. "Wow," Sarafine said, looking across the town. "I think we found our answer. We must not be alone." She continued walking until the path was a fair distance away from them, ready to look around.

the merchant looked over at the town, observing it from afar. it seems that sarafine was quite right - they mustn't be alone if there is a whole town out here. but then again, most of the zones were like that too. he frowned from behind his mask, and looked down at sarafine. “you never know what resides in such big places. I would warn you to keep an eye out, but I have no idea where we are, nor what lives in this town.”

"Alright, then. I'll be as alert as possible." Zacharie was right, they had no idea what could even reside here at all, hostile or not. Though Sarafine continued to wander around. The town wasn't all that small, it was slightly large, and it was nearly too quiet here. "How about we go look around in one of these buildings," Sarafine suggested, nodding her head towards a building that towered just slightly over the few others around it.

She looked at the poster. "Yeah, i know her. I watched some of her shows. Its just that..." She only remembered seeing Mettaton in her box form. "I didn't really recognize her in this form..." She said and looked up.

"Welp see ya" he walks away and wlks around whistling 'hmm maybe I could go into the woods' he thought and went into the woods. He had looked that trees and small animals. He sat down against a tree and fell asleep being lazy as usual. He snored lightly, his hands still in his hoodie pockets.

the masked male watched sarafine, not bothering to walk around with her. he didn't want to venture around, he just wanted to see someone he knew. pablo, the batter, even the puppeteer the controlled the bat-wielding monster. he sighs, sitting on a park bench until the girl walked back over to him again, proposing to look around one of the buildings. although it was an unwise decision, he agreed.

As it followed behind the group, the Tachikoma became aware of a strange disturbance somewhere to its left. It was... data. A stream of unfiltered data, thoughts, emotions, sensory input, all being emitted from an unknown source. Incredibly curious, the multiped rolled off of the path and back into the forest, heading in the direction of the source. Which, as it turned out, was a woman. A woman carrying around a large, sword-like object that appeared to be shaped like an old-fashioned circuit board. Was that the source of the data? It looked like it, the Tachikoma could sense... were those Ghosts? was that sword some sort of independent Ghost storage hub? Why was the woman just dragging it around? Equal parts curious and confused, the Tachikoma decided to follow behind the woman, still invisible, and attempt to reach out with its own cybernetic consciousness, rudimentary as it was. Slowly, an invisible cable snaked out from one of the ThinkTank's arms, searching around the sword for a spot it could interface on.

Gaster froze when he heard the scraping of something heavy against the ground, his excitement disappearing as quickly as it came when he located it's source. A human, dragging what looked like a long heavy blade.
An armed human.
Gaster panicked, feeling his magic rise unbidden from the depths of his soul, forming misty, violet swirls around his hands. He knew how dangerous human's could be, and if young humans with saucepans could take down a few monsters, it wasn't a leap to imagine this adult with their large weapon could do a lot more, perhaps even deal decent damaged to a monster as strong as Asgore himself.
Perhaps he should strike first? Maybe it would be best if -
He mentally cursed as his magic spiked at his thoughts, sending a row of broken, jagged bones racing out towards the human.
Well. Looked like his magic had decided for him.
