You can claim the birthday ticket when it's time, and then use it when customs are open I think :3

Yes, unfortunately some people will miss their custom due to this but Slate has said they don't plan on customs being closed for too long. They had over 8(i think) customs to get done plus tons of line conversion requests along with that. Now that a lot of those are out of the way customs might be open up again soon. Plus you get 14 days that you can order the custom so maybe they'd only be closed for part of that time. Plus, there's always next year or a different type of custom

Actually, you can "buy" the birthday custom any time the shop is open. You have to wait for the 7 days before/after to be able to redeem the ticket and customs have to be open to be able to do so.

the new customs came out so amazing ;-; the details are so precise i cant even fathom their perfection, like seriously, my new girl Airee&Lala has this blue drapery and the small detail of the design is stunning the pattern is like flowers and swirls and ugh man x3

and then theres the mask patterns on Dragonscales10's custom and the pattern on Neon's bab <3
