Abigail looked at the speech bubble in confusion. It had a strange symbol in it, which she immediantly identified as Japanese. How did she know this exactly? She had a friend from Japan and had become used to seeing the language despite that she couldn't read it. "Quick questions. What's with the speech bubble? Can you read what it says?" The Tachikoma faded from view once again as it activated its therm-optic camouflage, rolling silently down the track after the party. Just because the people it had met so far were friendly, it didn't mean that everyone else in this place was. It stood to reason that, if all these beings had been plucked out of the multiverse and dropped here, that at least a fraction of them would be hostile, whether from pre-transport dispositions, or simply from the shock of winding up in a new place. If the group fell under attack, the Tachikoma wanted to have the upper hand.

Gaster woke, and for a second found himself too nervous to open his eyes. What was this feeling? This feeling of contact, he realized with a jolt. Yes, it was contact, something pressing hard against his back. How? He forced himself to open his eyesockets and found himself staring out over a wooded pathway that reminded him of Snowdin without the snow. He felt confusion rise alongside his fear. Where was he? He didn't recognize this, perhaps it was merely a trick of the void, a leak into reality like the room that would force him to disappear into nothingness shortly. It didn't explain being able to be touched, to be felt. His scientific mind whirred, then stopped. His thoughts where more coherent than they had been in.... in... in how ever long he'd been stuck.
It was as he sat there, back against a tree, forming theories, that he began to feel a warm tingle, not too dissimilar to the air in Hotlands, but less intense. For the first time he looked to, trying to find the heat's source. But all he could see beyond the leaves was... blue. His white pupils widened and he stood so quickly he felt nauseous, bones clacking against each other, staring up at... at the sky. He let out a silent cheer, and laughed, although it was a formless wheeze more than anything.
