whoops sorry guys kinda fell asleep and missed out on some sweet discussion dangit, darn you sleep!

ah but yeah the cadets don't have to be from the same planet, i refrained from going into to much detail on the plot page because it would've been a big old info dump so that's why there's so many things left unexplained sorry
i don't have time to go into detail right now 'cause i have to go to school but expect a very wordy post when i get back about all the planets and HQ and all that good stuff
ah i have a few planets already made up but if you guys want to develop your own planets for ya babbies then that's fine by me, they don't all have to be from different planets but who knows it's space ya know, the other planets can be used for like business and adventure and stuff
i mean it would explain why O's got ears, it could just be a common thing on their planet, to just have animal ears cause you know it's space, no rules in space.

@( ͡° ͜ʖ ~) oh dear he does have that dorkiness bad, i guess only time will be able to tell if the coolness outweighs the nerdness
and of course take your time bro, don't wanna force yourself to get the code done you gotta sleep, don't turn into nori you can't pass out from stress and responsibilities like him

Warning:lots of words ahead, i'm sorry
ALRIGHTY TIME FOR SOME SWEET DEETS MY FRIENDS

ok, let's start things a little slow. In space there is a universal language that everyone learns, that's not to say different planets don't have their own languages, because they do, it is just required that everyone learn the universal language as a second or even third language so communication with different nations, planets and galaxies can go through smoothly and not have to be faced with a language barrier. The language is called "duro interstellis" which roughly translates to "live on among the stars", it is rather abstract sounding to native earth human ears and the closest thing it can be compared to is a mix of Icelandic, Portuguese and Latin. It's not ever expected of the kiddos to learn the language, so all humans taken from earth are given devices similar to a blue tooth in design but they do not function like one. The small devices are used as both internal and external translators, it is attached to your ear, via a comfortable clip, and syncs with your brain waves and thought process, it then acts as part of the brain, the part that would store your understanding of duro interstellis if you understood it at all. Don't ask how it works we're in space they have technology we could never understand. When you have the device your thoughts are all translated to the universal language and you are able to understand and speak it right away, that is not to say you will speak it comfortable right away as your lips and throat will still need to get used to the new sounds and pronunciations. You will still remember your native language and any other language you may have learned, they will just no longer be the language you primarily think/speak in. Of course, if you remove the device, you will instantly forget anything you may have learned about the language and it will sound like gibberish and you will no longer be able to speak it until you put the clip back on. It is also helpful for the earth humans because there is no guarantee they will all speak the same language, as earth has many languages, so having the device helps them communicate amongst themselves with ease as well as the cadets and space humans/people.

whoops that wasn't slow at all, onto the planets i suppose, i'll put them in bullet-ed form so it'll be a bit easier to read:

ok, so there is one main stellar configuration(pretty much means a solar system) where most of the cadets are probably from as it is the most populated and large stellar configuration under the, i wouldn't say rule but under the supervision/care of the Wasi, which is the organization that the "HQ" of the cadets belongs too. It's not really a government organization per say, but i'll get into more details about that later. Anyway, the main stellar configuration is known as Sarenchromo with is lame-mans terms in duro interstellis for "colorful flower" as each of the planets are rather colorful and they orbit around their sun in perfect sync to almost look like the outline of a 6-petaled flower, a loose idea of what the system looks like would be this.

First planet on the list, in order of least populated to most: persephone
      Persephone

      overall description
The planet of Persephone is actually on of the largest planets in the Sarenchromo solar system, roughly 1.5 times bigger than the planet Jupiter in earths solar system, with great size of course comes many moons, Persephone has 94 moons in varying sizes and proximity to the planet, some so close you could actually touch them if you got high enough. This adds tremendously to the planets already natural beauty as there are always moons in the sky, and during different times of it's year the different moons will shine different colors and lead to all sorts of different festivals and traditions to those who live on the planet. The planet itself appears to be a pale pinkish with violet hints due to it's atmosphere, when in reality it would appear very very green and blue, hence it's atmosphere though the planet does not have "blue skies" it has almost pastel looking pink, purple or orange skies but it does have black nights, though they are still illuminated greatly by their moons reflected light. As previously mentioned, P is the least populated planet despite being one of the largest, that is to say least populated as far as people go as most of the planets inhabitants are flora and fauna and there is quite a large variety of organic life on the planet. Most of the people who live on the planet are either scientists and their families as well as members of Wasi who are there to study and document all the plants, animals and other living things, mainly for medical research, and the native people who have lived there for who knows how long. The planet is vast, and therefore not all of it can have people living in it, most of the people are gathered in a central area where the climate is rather temperate all year round, optimal for farming and harvesting and supporting large villages/families. They are not the most technological advanced society simply because farming and nature is a large part in how they live, that is not to say they are without technology as they are still far more advanced than earth.

      culture
As mentioned before the people who are native to Persephone are heavily farming-oriented, family values are something they all hold close to heart and they tend to overall be nice people. They celebrate lots of things and have many festivals, you would think because they as a people have overcome many things worth celebration but no, they just do it because they can and they like to party. They are a partying race of people who enjoy things like fine liquors and good meals more than anything else. Everyone on the planet has been at peace with each other for a long time, but that is not to say they do not like to fight, because they very much do enjoy fighting, it's fun and an activity that actually requires energy besides farming and milling and the like. They heavily enjoy dancing, athletic challenges like the Olympics and any sort of "friendly brawl" with a bunch of drunkards or just feisty townsfolk.

      Concordia

      overall description
The population gap between Persephone and Concordia is quite the large one, as the entire planet of Persephone only has about as many people as the country of Mongolia, Concordia has about the same amount of people as the entire planet of earth itself. It is not the largest planet by any means, rather average in size compared to a few of it's counterparts, though i is much large than earth, about 3x as large. It has two sets of rings, one vertical and one diagonal which leads to a very unique and beautiful sky for both night and day, the rings are believed to make up for the fact that Concordia has no moons. Looking at it atmospherically, the planet appears to be a dusty yellow or beige color, which is not far from the planets actual appear as it is mostly covered in desert and tundra, the rest is vast oceans and seas. As expected, almost all the people live by the coasts, as is necessary to survive, but there are a few cultures native to the planet that live among the barren wastelands and have been doing so for centuries. There is not a large variety of plant or animal life on the surface besides what grows by the water and what lives underground or in the sky, with the exception of domesticated animals who live among people. But there is of course the exception of the planets aquatic life, which is rather extensive and fascinating. The people of Concordia are the closest things to mermaids in both the Sarenchromo solar system and earth's solar system as over time they have adapted to hold there breath for much longer and be able to withstand higher pressure. That is not to say they are mermaids, they are only people who have much stronger bodies compared to the average passer-byer, they cannot live or breath underwater, they can only hold their breath for about forty five minutes. Since there is no moon, there are not really any tides, and almost all of the planets water is located by the top or the bottom of it due to the water being heavily attracted to the polar regions. Despite being called polar, it is not cold there, it is often hot as moons often affect the controlling of climate and without a moon the planet's temperature has steadily risen over time, hence why most of the planet is desert and dead.

      culture
Due to the water being a tremendously huge factor in their way of life, the people of Concordia are heavily naval and fishing oriented. There has never been a war on the planet, a few battles yes but never a war, so they have little need for any type of army or defense, hardly anyone on the planet knows how to fight using a weapon, hand to hand combat is a different story though. Since their oceans a big and deep, it leads to some interesting and also large creatures that are often used in folk lore, praised or worshiped or considered very good for your health to eat. One of their most worshiped, i wouldn't say god more so a higher-level being the people pray to or seek guidance from, is similar to what on earth would be known as a jellyfish, but it is massive, massive as in bigger than three humpback whales lined up. It is very beautiful and very luminescent, often referred to as the moons of the sea as from a distance they look like fallen moons in the water, it is considered by the people of Concordia exceptionally lucky if you are ever to see one. Seeing as they are very rare and almost taken next to godliness, if you are to be lucky enough to touch one it is said you are guaranteed to live a happy afterlife and your soul will be reincarnated into one of them, the moons of the sea that is. There a celebrations for them as well as the other praised animals regularly and it is a strictly held custom to not bury or cremate the dead, but to offer them to the sea and it's godly creatures.

      Quirinus

      overall description
Quirinus is rather similar in size and population compared to Concordia, but the planet itself is about a quarter smaller and the population is about a billion larger. Which is rather surprising considering the planets bloody past of centuries upon centuries of war between nations and even other planets at times, though they have not been in an sort of war for at least 200 earth years the planet is heavily battle ready at all times, for whoever they may be fighting even if its among themselves. it is a red planet, though it is not a hot planet in the slightest, no by far it is the coldest planet of the solar system, granted it is not a frozen planet, it is the only planet to maintain an average temperature of 32°C by earth's standard of temperature, it does not get much warmer and it doesn't get much colder with the exception of winter seasons when it doesn't snow, but rains and the temperature drop can vary from a few degrees to below -17°C. Though the people are used to it and tend to be extremely susceptible to anything warmer which is a rather large disadvantage when the travel to other planets and other places in the galaxy as they need a longer time to adjust to warmer temperatures. Quirinus has five moons, all in close proximity to each other and somewhat resembling the points of a star, the moons themselves are rather far off from the planet and appear much smaller than earth's moon does to humans, despite the fact the moons are much larger that earth's moon. As previously stated the planet is red, only due to how it's atmosphere reacts to the Sarenchromo systems star's light, the planet itself is grey-ish, flat with no natural features like hills or mountains, all elevations are man made. It is a rainy planet and is almost always engulfed in cloud cover. Due to the multitude of wars the planet has had to undergo the amount of forests left still unharmed is almost little to none, planet wide only having roughly a total of 10 forests, give or take, forest defined as a group of trees that are still alive and still have some animals living among them, needing to reach a certain amount of trees per a certain measuring unit, but to put it by earth terms, it needs to have at least 20 trees per square kilometer. Quirinus does not have any seas or oceans, it only has rivers, springs, ponds and lakes, fishing nor hunting are major producers of food for the people of this planet as many natural wildlife species have been wiped out, so most, if not all people heavily rely on mass farming of livestock and easy-to-grow crops. Their skies are rather polluted from old weapons and machines, but they have come up with the technology to clean the atmosphere as best they could without the assistance of plant life, the air is breathable and more or less safe but the night sky is not nearly as beautiful as it could be.

      culture
As it has been already stated, the planet has had it's far share of wars and therefore it's culture is heavily militarily based, though not everyone is in the military everyone's way of life is similar enough to that of being in the force. They are not very festive people, most of their celebrations consisting of memorials and days of remembrance, they are polite but not exceedingly friendly. Rules and laws are heavily valued as well as order and justice, so the crime rate is actually very low for their planet, people tend to live relatively boring lives if they choose to stay on their planet, so most young people choose to travel to other planets or enroll in Wasi's cadet program, giving them the chance to travel much farther than their own solar system. Again, still surprising with how large the population is that most people leave, but some tend to come back to settle down as they want to raise their children how they were raised, to be disciplined and ready for any fight at any time. It overall is a sad and boring planet, a world that had some much potential to be great but was destroyed by wrath created by lust for power and glory.

      Hephaestus

      overall description
Hephaestus is actually the smallest of the planets, even smaller than Eos, but is nevertheless one of the more densely populated, having about double the amount of people as Quirinus. The planet itself is somewhat ordinary when it comes to extraordinary features, only having one moon of average size and no rings, it has a green-brown looking atmosphere and the planet itself is grey and green as it is easy to distinguish between the heavily populated and no-so populated areas, grey being more heavily populated and green not. The climate for the planet is rather temperate all year except for winters which are often rather brutal and one of the only things the people fear, the only other time they have extreme whether is during spring and early summer when it is nonstop heavy thunderstorms which is beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Hephaestus is the most technologically advanced of all the planets in the Sarenchromo system, providing Wasi with all their latest ships, weapons and medical equipment, due to their advancements though their atmosphere has paid a price, leading to the extreme weather and slightly polluted skies. Back to the gray and green areas, grey areas are almost obviously cities where most people tend to reside whereas the green areas are quite clearly countryside, older people as well as more family orientated people tend to live out there. Hephaestus has the lowest death rate of any of the other planets due to it's advances in the medical sciences, the planet has one main ocean that is in the center of a rather large land mass, most of the planets other water is from seas or lakes or reservoirs. It is a very mountainous planet that is also decorated with many valleys and canyons as well. It is still heavily covered with forest and grasslands in most uninhabited or lowly populated parts of the planet, though they have some interesting wildlife it is nothing extraordinary or extensive, as the same goes for their plant life as well.

      culture
Very, very technology dependent and obsessed society in both green and grey areas, all anyone on the planet seems to care about is advancing farther and exceeding their modern possibilities. Though they tend to be good natured people they are not the most polite as they tend to not care much more privacy or secrecy, they are a very open society which is both a virtue and a vice. Like those on Persephone, the people of Hephaestus love to celebrate, no matter what reason it may be for, though they are more for great feasts than for fine wines. They are very fond of night festivals that involve fireworks, bonfires or really anything naturally bright and exciting, overall pretty laid back people, even when it comes to the more serious of Wasi officials who monitor the planet. Though family is something that is kept close to heart, Hephaestus-ians(?) usually to find romantic love more sacred than familial as they tend to be romantic people.

      Nona

      overall description
By far the biggest planet of them all, twice the size of Persephone and most likely over a hundred times more populated in both people and natural life, though it is not nearly as extensive in it's variety of wildlife and plants and therefore not as interesting in that aspect. Nona is very similar looking to earth as it's main colors are dark blue and green, though it is more so a green planet with blue lines as the world consists of nothing but an endless amount islands in a large intertwining web of rivers and lakes. The planet often referred to as the mother planet has only a mere 45 moons in comparison to Persephone, but it also has a horizontal ring around it's center, the two combining to make an exceptionally beautifully sky for an exceptionally beautiful planet. Despite having such a large population, Nona has never had to experience any major wars and has been one of the most peaceful of all the planets. Even though they do not domesticate animals besides the equivalent to dogs and cats, almost all animals on the planet seem to not fear people and are even friendly at times. On some of the larger islands there tends to be forests of immense size and density and vast grass lands, the other large islands tend to be more populated as cities or villages. It's a rather windy planet that has warm summers and no winters except for the more northern regions, it has a rainy season that often leads to flooding but it is never anything anyone is worried about.

      culture
As everything on the planet is connected by it, water plays a major role in day to day life for the average Native Nonan in both cultural influence and transportation, as even the large islands usually have smaller steams and rivers in them, more often than not people travel by boat or raft. Occasionally robotic carriers or even animals will be used to transport heavier loads, almost everything is done by sailing or rowing. Nature, family and friendship are all things very deeply valued to most inhabitants, though they don't have very many godly-beings to pray to like on Concordia they have many spirits they believe watch over them, which they build floating shrines for and set them out to travel wherever around the world it may please. If you are ever to encounter a shrine in your travels you are to give it some sort of offering as thanks and then be on your way, it is believed to be severe bad luck if you do not do so. The people of Nona love to party and celebrate just as much as the next planet, but they have a slightly different style as they party for a week or so straight and then do not hold anymore festivals or festivities for at least six months, in earth time.

and finally, last but not least, Eos, though not actually a planet it is Persephone's largest moon and considered to be a planet for one particular reason. as you mentioned earlier @foxx; about a neutral planet where all the races came to converge and that's where the HQ is, you're pretty much spot on haha, however as i just said it's not a planet but a moon. So to sum Eos up before i go into a bit more detail, Eos is the largest moon of Persephone and is capable of sustaining life of it's own, which is why Wasi decided to make that the base planet long ago, there once meager base has now evolved into a full blown society where lots of higher up Wasi officials tend to live and raise their families if they decide to have one. The entire planet is the HQ where cadets are trained, assigned, promoted, sponsored and all the other good stuff. As brought up earlier, it is a neutral "planet" to it's own solar system and to several other solar systems Wasi is affiliated with.

      Eos

      overall description
Though it is one of the smallest it has roughly the same population of Persephone and a similar climate and biome to Nona's, though it has mainly grasslands and mountains and a few lakes and rivers. Most of the sky is taken up by Persephone, during both day and night but it is still a pretty view. Most of the planet is populated by Wasi storage, research, infirmary and other important organization buildings, there is one main building in the center of the planet. It is tall and thin and is where all the higher officials do their work, planning and discussing, as Wasi is not a government or a military it acts as the closest thing to one for the star systems it's responsible for. The moon itself is a very pale light green with spots of silver here and there due to Wasi's presence

      culture
Aside from being very formal and sophisticated, it is a calm and peaceful place where many retired Wasi members enjoy living, there has never been a war or an attack to the moon and the only damage down to the place is by them, and they have not done much damage due to their advanced technology. It is customary for all Wasi officials and members, which includes cadets, that have died in the line of duty to have the ceremony on Eos, but to be buried on Persephone so that their body can be used to protect and provide for life even after death. They don't have to agree to this though, if they would rather have a ceremony on their home planet then they can, but it is seen as devotion to the organization to agree to it, if they were to die. There have only ever been a handful of deaths of Wasi members in it's entire history, numerous injuries but hardly any deaths, so they are typically confident they will not need to bury anyone.

uggh i was going to write about some other things but i've literally been working on this since i got back from school and i'm a little burnt out right now, i've been writing for almost 5 hours heplso apologies if things start to not make much sense towards the end. If i left anything out you want to know about or if you want more information about one of the planets don't hesitate to ask! i will gladly answer, as you can see i like to go into detail about things
there are a few planets outside of the sarenchromo system that i need to mention, but they can wait i suppose.
if you guys feel like none of these planets are a good fit for you're character(s) origins, then don't be afraid to make your own, just don't forget to mention the details about it on here so everyone else can know abut it c:
ah but yeah, sorry for the info dump everyone whoops

In regards to starting, we did all decide we were going with the kiddos waking up with the cadets just kind of casually waiting, yeah? And so we'll just start with v confused kiddos?

Also, can I ask- exactly what are the cadets doing with them? Is there a reason HQ assigned the cadets to pick up the kiddos?
