eva tried to prevent herself from squealing with joy and failed miserably. "you did it! you see, you see!" she had a moment where she wanted to hug him, but mentally slapped herself. that'd just be weird. "let's go get food, now." she said, beckoning him as she started walking towards the cafeteria. "i swear you were a neko for a few moments," she told him, ordering herself a burger and handing him the menu.

"What's a neko?" He asks, looking at her then to the menu. Without his wolf impulsive instincts, he nodded and ordered a chicken salad. He needed to take a break from all that meat. His wolf ears soon popped out of his head, twitching occasionally. "Do you know every about wolves?" He added, yawning.

"Psh. It's a term girls in my training unit kept using when we watched recordings of cats, wolves, dogs or other similar animals shifting. They'd still have ears and tail in their human form, and apparently that's termed a neko. Or something. Not sure. They were all anime fans and used words like that all the time." She chuckled as she remembered her training. "You want to sit down? And I don't think I know everything, but I guess I know stuff I need to know. And also, I think we should start training tomorrow. The earlier we start, the better. Maybe we can meet others, too."

Amira froze in place as the heard the desperate pleading from the male behind her. She let out a quiet sigh before turning to face him, a hardly noticeable smile on her pale complexion. She ran her fingers through her messy hair, averting her gaze from the boy to the ground beneath her feet. Without having to say anything, she nodded in agreement, putting up no fight or protesting about why he must help her. She knew her fate, and it was this.

eva sighed, ease draining from her eyes. "it was tough," she hissed, suddenly losing apetite. "it was the hardest thing i did in my life." she paused, glancing at him venomously. "oh, wait. that was my whole life." she spat, looking away from him. painful memories leaked into her mind, old rage woken again and shaking her like an electric shock. she rubbed her eyes, trying to calm down. "and all for you. a freaking dog i never even met." her voice was a little less furious.

i know i stated before that amira shifted with ease.
this probably isn't true, since you said that most shifters at the age of
seventeen hadn't shifted before.

let's just say maybe she already shifted twice?
i don't know any other way to put it since she already got involved in a
little hostility with logan.
if not, we can possibly just forget the attack if that's okay with skye,
although if that's not going to happen then i'll keep it as though
she's shifted before. c:

Amira glanced back at him and brushed the loose strands of hair away from her face. She, too, stuffed her hands into her coat pockets and contemplated whether she wanted to tell him or not. This boy had appeared out of no where and demanded that he was a guardian, so she had no idea how to feel or what to say. All she knew was that she didn't trust him, but he seemed desperate. Besides, she always seemed to be around when somebody was pleading for help, and she happened to be here when this male needed her. Specifically her, since he stated that he was her guardian. It was too much for her to take in, how sudden and abrupt it was for him to reveal that. I was around for anyone who needed me, I suppose, she responded coldly, once again averting her gaze to the ground below her, shuffling from one foot to another. This wasn't like her. Where was her bold and bashful self? She felt extremely shy, and unwilling to speak, and she had no idea why. Maybe it was almost like pressure. She just wasn't used to bonding with other people, which she knew she'd have to do now. The embarrassment will all wear off in a few minutes and I'll be back to normal, she told herself repeatedly.

As she spoke again, his smile dropped again. "What... what do you mean, needed you?" He frowned slightly in confusion. This girl was a total mystery to him. At first she intimidated him, but now she seemed so small he was afraid she might disappear. He spent only minutes with her and was already intrigued. I'll find out what's her story, he told himself.
