I was re watching the episode where Peridot and Steven and the rest of the crystal gems go to the moon(i can't remember the name sorry) and i couldn't help but remember that none of the other gems besides Steven could get into lion's mane. I mean pearl tried, and that failed, and neither garnet or Amethyst even attempted. So it really confused me when Peridot was seen just lounging in his mane. Does that mean Peridot and Rose had a connection before the crystal gems happened??????????

Gems don't need oxygen. If they can breath in water im sure they can breathe in a mane.

yah but Steven's only half gem, which means he has to hold his breath aka only has a limited supply of oxygen, whenever he goes into lions mane. In the episode Rose's scabbard, when showing Pearl all the things he stores in Lion's mane, he takes a deep breath before getting whatever it is he wants to show her. This means it is not possible for him to stay in Lion's mane past a certain amount of time.

Is Lion a "Corrupted" gem?
Or is he just a pink lion?
Or is he a gem that Enjoys looking like a lion?
And the sword that got pulled out of his head, did that come out of his mane or was it his gem weapon?

So many questions about that majestic floof

what about how was peridot able to get inside of lion's mane in it could've been great? maybe lion allows certain people inside at certain times, or because steven was in the mane peridot was able to come in too?

also the sword he pulled out of his head was originally rose's, as he was roses pet and in pearl's flashback in sworn to the sword she was holding it.
