Zane nodded, "Yes, perhaps you should sit down. It will be alright." He chuckled softly, "We have known each other for a very long time... We met the first time I visited Borg Towers with the other ninja. It was a school trip for our students, but it turned into much more..."

Luna laughed, "How long have you had Chrome, Kendal?"

"A couple months. Close to a year, actually." Kendal shrugged. "Big guy rarely gets sick. When he does, I warm up the garage with a heater and run diagnostics on his engine, as well as change his oil and air up his tires. I make sure everything is running on point."

"And you wash him." Cambria chimed. "But he doesn't like hand washes."

Kendal laughed. "Oh he hates those."

"I was here, preparing for their arrival and ensuring a new bus was brought." Pixal grinned. "They got into a bit of a traffic accident."

Apollo chuckled. "They did?"

Zane laughed, "It was not too bad, but yes. It happened mostly because our bus was the only vehicle that was still on wheels in the city. My friend Cole had started to fix it, but we ended up just walking into the tower."

Luna smiled, "Oh! That's pretty cool! Was he the first vehicle with AI?"

Pixal nodded. "Your father and I's conversation was brief, with me basically telling him he's outdated and slow.. But concluded when I was curious of the location of his energy source."

"What were those exact words?" Apollo asked with a smirk. "I wanna hear how bad mom roasted you."

Pixal shook her head. "I had little emotion at that time, so I saw no offence in the words.. Let me think... My exact words were.." She paused, her voice falling back into a monotone tone, and her face lost all emotion. "Welcome to Borg Industries. I'm Pixal, Cyrus' Primary Interactive, X-ternal Assistant Lifeform. I am sorry to hear about the traffic accident. Everything in New Ninjago City is fully automated and interconnected. Your antiquated bus should be ready shortly.. You are Zane, a droid like me. What does Zane stand for?" She looked over at him, tilting her head slightly.

"No he had three past builds." Kendal shook his head.

Zane paused thinking for a moment, then he looked to Pixal. "'I stand for peace, freedom, and courage in the face of all who threaten Ninjago.' My friend Jay, who you will meet eventually along with Cole and the others, he stopped me and told me that she had meant my name. My reply was then, 'I guess I am just Zane.'"

Luna nodded, "Oh! That's cool!"

"Permission to scan?" Pixal asked, a slight grin falling across her face. Thinking back to this made her grin. They'd come so far..

"My mom drives his 'brother', Blitz." Kendal nodded. "Blitz is a truck. The second build is a mini van, and the first was a normal 4-wheel drive vehicle."

"Uh... Permission granted?" Zane nodded slightly, chuckling softly to himself. They really had come far. Their first conversation may have been a bit awkward, now that he thought about it, but it was nice to think back to this moment.

Luna nodded, "What happend to the other 2 then?"

Pixal began to scan him, speaking as she did so. "Your hardware is outdated and your processor is slow and incompatible with ours." She stopped. "Peculiar. All droids must recharge our batteries, yet curiously, I am unable to locate your energy source. What powers you?" She reached over, placing her hand over his heart. She jolted back as Chrome burst into the room singing a random song.

"When you're not that hungry but you're not quite full, and you need something yummy on your way to school!" Chrome chimed.

"I graduated." Pixal snorted.

"You have a degree, reach in the pantry! Looks like there's, one more pack left! You've just been blessed with the strawberry poptart toaster pastries!" Chrome giggled.

"Chrome!!" Apollo groaned. "You ruined the moment with your poptart song!!"

"No idea." Kendal shook his head.

"I... I do not-" Zane started before he yelped softly, turning around. "Chrome! What? I do not understand. Why?" He looked over at Apollo and chuckled. "I would not say it was perfect."

Luna shrugged, 'That's ok."

Apollo huffed. "Question.. What does 'antiquated' mean?"

Pixal chuckled, a faint blush falling across her face. "Old-fashioned or outdated. If I were to voice everything I was thinking when I first saw the group you likely wouldn't be standing here right now. Somethings I thought were extremely disrespectful." she chuckled nervously.

Apollo tilted his head questioningly.

"I'm not gonna say any of it now! No, no!" Pixal laughed.

"When we get back I'm going to focus all my energy on fixing Chrome." Kendal noted. "Because all he is is a shell now."

Cambria nodded. "Yeah.. Ice may come in handy."

"No. not really." Kendal laughed. "We'll need to flatten just about every panel of metal on him, repair lights, and buy a new.. Ugh.." He covered his face.

"What?!" Cambria tensed.

"I've gotta buy a new engine for him." Kendal groaned.

"Won't grandpa just give a new one?"

"Chrome is my responsibility. Grandpa is generous, but not that generous."

"Oh. Well. Good luck."

"There goes college savings. I'll be stuck in a factory anyways."
