Ripplestar was taken aback at what Maplestar has said. "Well.." she whispers. She stands, hoping that Maplestar has finished, and meows, "I would also like to state, Stoneclan has welcomed two healthy kits into the world. We also have a new medicine cat, who is sadly absent tonight."

Thistlefur narrowed his eyes at Maplestar, but it was dark, so he hoped she hadn't seen.

Nightslash gave a friendly wave but put her paw down rapidly "...its a human thing."

Tornstar watched Maplestar and was silent, wondering if there was any other news.

Nightslash sighed "two leaders? From different clans? No one told me this."

Ripplestar continued. "Near the lake, there has also been a shortage of prey. I've sent my best hunters out, but they came with close to nothing. I am not asking for help, but simply telling all cats the news, in case this shortage spreads to your Clans. And we've also recently heard near barking sounds, but we're praying to Starclan that they are not wild dogs."

Featherpaw's eyes widened from the news. "That isn't good.." she whispers to herself.

Finchfeather's neck fur rose as Ripplestar spoke. His eyes flashed like pale fire. There had better not be dogs here, it would mean horrible things of all cats.

Ripplestar was bristling slightly. "I'm soon heading to the Mooncave to speak to Starclan. If Tornstar or Maplestar has anything to say, please speak," she meows. Ripplestar backs up on the rock, and sits down.

Thistlefur growls, and claws at the ground. If the dogs were near Brackenclan..

Finchfeather glanced at Thistlefur, noticing his anger. He flicked him with his tail, giving him a meaningful look. Even if it was because of the dogs, he shouldn't look so angry at a gathering. The last thing the Deputy wanted was to provoke the other clans.
