Star smiled. "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I'm the best." She said with a hint of sarcasm. She laughed with the rest of the group. These were the moments where she was happiest. With her family. Her three tails waved in her happiness. She turned back to Candy, awaiting her response, a smile stille wide on her face.

Xavier finished his fill of laughing and nodded to Daze. "I'll finish up the border patrol after Candy's training, if that is alright with you." He said.

(Lol, I thought he said something out loud.)

Daze nodded to Xavier, and then let his gaze drift over to Star and Candy. (WB)

"I guess I'm just better than you." Star grinned flirtasiously and flicker a tail under his chin as she walked by. She appraoched her brother, White Flame, and Candy. "You ready for this?" She asked the she-wolf. Her tails bounced in the wind.

Candy Hearts

The she-wolf nodded her claws digging into the ground. "Of course I am. So where are we going?" She asks glancing at Daze before looking away quickly. (WB)

"Eh, probably just deep into the woods." Star says. Her blue coat shines in the light. "Let's head out!" She begins to trot out of camp, Xavier walking after her. Her tails sway in the wind.

Candy Hearts

She walked behind Star looking back at Daze a lump forming in her throat as she looked at him. But her gaze hardened she she forced herself to look away. She trotted forward to catch up to Star her limbs stiff and her tail no longer wagging. She sniffed the air searching for any trace of prey.

Xavier notices Candy Heart's uncomfort. He brushes her lightly with his tail. "Relax." He whispers. "Don't think about anything else but yourself and the prey."

Star shoots a look at Xavier. "No helping!" She laughed. She stopped once she got deep enough. "Alright. we will start with group hunting. Sniff out some prey, preferably something big, and motion to me like this," She flicks her tail, "When you find something. Okay?"

Candy Hearts

She nods and breaths deeply letting herself relax. A slight breeze tugged at her ears pushing them back a little, But that was ok. It meant the scent of the prey would be blown towards her and her scent wouldn't go to the prey. If there was any around of course. She smelled the musky tang of a rabbit. Then her ears perked up. She flicks her tail and looks back at Star trying to keep her gaze blank. She whispers. "I smell something large, some type of deer I'm sure. But I don't know if it's a doe or a buck." She explains feeling a little embarrassed.

Star watched Candy's stance intensly. Her face was squeezed into a judgy look, though she was actually quite pleased with Candy's work. She made no indication of this though. Star wanted to know if Candy could work under pressure with out breaking. Once Candy spoke Star shrugged. She lifted her nose to the wind, catching a scent of something that matched Candy's description. "Well," she whispered harshly. "Go find it!"

Candy Hearts

She dug her claws into the ground but didn't say a word. Instead she stalked in the direction of the scent. She kept her body low to the ground making sure that her lavender fur wasn't poking up above any plants. After quite a bit of walking she saw it. A buck with large antlers. He seemed to be alone and that was a good thing. She adjusted her position and continued forward. She waited for a moment then burst into a run. She surprised it and it began to run but she was right behind it. She bit at it's tail then herded it around back towards the others. She breathed slowly letting her chest rise and fall as she ran after the animal. Stamina was as important as speed in these situations.
