Intro

Dragoste eterna, it means 'eternal love'. Cheesy, right? But when you're a creature of the night, drinking the blood of the living just to survive, eternal love is something you could only dream of. Someone to stand beside you through everything, now and forever. Literally.
Welcome to the town of Nocturna, a small village hidden away deep in the woods. Nocturna is a safe place for vampires, somewhere where they can be themselves and not have to fear the danger of humans... or so they thought. Just recently a small town has sprung up hardly a mile away, a town of humans. With a new threat being placed against them, the town of Nocturna is on edge. However, not all is bad. With the town coming together as it is some vampires are beginning to notice people they never noticed before, and a few are straying from the path of their kind and finding interest in places just a mile away...

Summary

So basically, this is a romance roleplay involving vampires and humans. You can play either a human or a vampire (or both) and there can be romances between vampires, between humans, or between vampires and humans. This is a pretty free roleplay, not much specific plot line. Just have fun and be dramatic or whatever. c:

Deaglan is a rather mysterious person. With strikingly dark hair and eyes contrasting against his pale skin, the phrase 'tall, dark, and handsome' applies to him perfectly. He often comes off to others as being rather serious and a bit of a wise guy, taking others' words and twisting them as he pleases. More likely than not he has far more enemies than he has friends because of his attitude alone. Not one to sugarcoat things, he's brutally honest and doesn't care much for others' opinions, nor does he like listening to others. He's a leader, not a follower. He'd probably sooner take directions from a dog than let someone boss him around. However, he isn't a totally emotionless guy either. His sense of humor may just not be to everyone's taste. He does like to tease others, though, and is physically capable of smiling from time to time. He's a tough nut to crack but once you do he's actually not so bad a guy.

Jonah and Nikki are pretty much as close as two siblings could be. Raised in Boston, Mass., they were always the odd kids out. They were often bullied in school and always had to stick together. About a year ago, though, things really took a turn for the worse when the twins decided to come out to their parents. They were disowned almost immediately. Ever since they have been living on their own, depending on each other for survival.
Jonah has always been rather shy, though not quite as shy as Nikki. Between the two of them she has the harder time interacting with others. She has little to no self-confidence and Jonah often has to act as her voice, standing up for her when she can't, which is often. Jonah is very defensive of his sister and would never let anyone lay a hand on her, though outside of that he is actually a major pushover. He can never stand up for himself, only for Nikki. She always feels bad that she has to hide behind her brother but she can't really help it. Nikki just has a really hard time believing in herself. Both twins are actually rather fun-loving, though, and full of energy. They're enthusiastic and incredibly sweet. It's hard to earn their trust, but once you do they will truly be your friends for life. Break that trust even once, though, and you may very well lose them as well.
