A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.

Name: Wikka
Biological Sex: Female
Personality: Wikka is an independent zver. She loves to find things out for herself, especially when exploring, and takes joy in the quiet grace of nature. She can be aggressive and territorial at times. A very touchy mood or temper is quite usual, but she is very easy to become friends with. Wikka won't object to someone trying to socialize, but she often turns a bored and annoyed hand.
Relationships: Kilay is Wikka's only friend. The relationship is mutual, the two aren't pushing to be close, but they have each other's backs. Because both zvers can turn very vengeful and angry, they make a great match. When Kilay has a problem Wikka will help, as is vice versa. Despite their far-off friendship, the two seem always willing to share food...
Extras:It was as if everything was resting. Wikka paused every few moments to study the strange silence. The jays cawed from the other side of the mountain.
Maybe a storm? But...I don't scent anything. she thought with a huff. She shrugged off the thought and turned to stare a moment at Kilay. The zver was quietly waiting for a passing fish. Her skills were getting better by the day. Wikka loved swimming but had never learned how. That is, until Kilay became part of her life. She had welcome Wikka into her pack, and into her life's quest.
Flashing purple grasses swayed at her feet as she continued to listen for the sound of prey. "Where are you?" she growled, feeling her stomach agree. Kilay had agreed to share anything she caught, but fish was not her favorite. Wikka would rather have a juicy rabbit.
Distracted by the sound of a splash, she turned to see her friend wiggling around under the stream water trying to keep a hold of whatever she had caught. Wikka smiled and turned again to focus. There was a rumble, very small, almost as if a distant thunder.
"Kilay!" she called down, but her friend was still out of hearing reach, beneath the water. Turning back in the direction of the sound, she heard it again. What was it?
Then, a slight crackling, grinding sound and a rock fell at Wikka's paws. She looked at it with wonder, wondering what was going on. Is there a human here hunting with rocks? Is that why everything has moved away? Another rock rolled by, but larger, causing Wikka to gasp with realization. "Rock slide!" she howled.
Kilay had jumped in again after another fish. If she didn't hear than she could end up being a victim of the rocks. I will definitely stay away from silent areas in the future! Knowing she was the only one around to retrieve Kilay, Wikka set off at a sprint down the mountain, careful to balance herself so that she did not roll into her friend.
The crash and rumble of more oncoming rocks scared Wikka, forcing her to look back for a second. Boulders were rolling their way down.
"Kilay! Kilay!" she called as her friend surfaced for a moment. Kilay hadn't heard.
Lungs and legs burning for air, Wikka refused to listen to her body and dove into the cold water of the stream. Kilay looked at her with confusion, letting her fish escape. Wikka wasted no time to grab her scruff and start hauling her up, helped by her friends paddling. They reached the surface with gasps of breath. "Run!" Wikka barked, nudging Kilay towards the opposite bank.
Hopping out, Kilay turned open-mouthed to ask what was going on. Clearly she saw, her eyes widening as she turned around.
The cracks of trees followed as they ran up the opposite mountain, the rock slide leaving an almost certain trail of destruction. Wikka tucked her tail between her legs at the sudden and extremely loud crack of a tree rammed so hard it fell over. It sounded closer than it should be.
Quite quickly, before the two were even a quarter of the way up the mountain, the sounds of the rock slide stopped. The creaks of strained trees quieted, and the grinding of rock against rock slowed. Kilay and Wikka both turned a moment to look. The rock slide had stopped.
Collapsing with exhaustion, Wikka felt Kilay's head hit her side as she slouched over. "We're safe." she breathed happily, both looking at the stream and mountain side where the two had been only a minute before.
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another.
By this all will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.
