Cinder darts towards the fresh kill pile, swiping up as many mice as possible. She then darts back into her "prison" dropping the mice at the back of her "prison".

Finchfeather sighed as he watched Cinder creep out of the roots of the tree, snatching a few mice from the fresh-kill pile. No body stopped her. Why was he the only one who would deal with her? He stomped over, staring down at Cinder. "Seriously? You're going to get fat."

"No I won't. Look at me!" She replies, flicking her tail. Cinder lies on her prey defensively, as if he were about to take her kit away. "Well, it's a shame if I will, I'm still eating these."

Finchfeather sighed. "You can't have everything, you know." He meowed. "You're lucky it's green-leaf, we can let this one slide. But you can't have all of them. You can have one." He snatched the other mice from under her, placing them behind himself. "We still need our prey."

Cinder hisses. "Hey! They're mine!" She meows grumpily, lunging at the tom, knocking him over. She swiftly takes the two mice back, shoving them to the back of her "prison".

Finchfeather let out a startled "oof" as the she-cat bowled into him, and he stood, launching himself in and this time taking all three mice. "Fine. If you can't behave, you don't get any." This time his tone was playful, and his eyes glittered. How could she be evil?

"You're mean!" She snaps, yet, a hint of playfulness was in her voice. Cinder launches herself at the tom again, wanting to eat. "Give me my food!" She meows, her eyes glinting mischievously.

Finchfearher batted her away gently with a powerful forepaw, his brow raised. "Technically, it's not your food." He said.

"Well, I picked it up so it technically is!" She meows, reaching a forepaw out to see if she could hook a claw on the mouse.

Finchfeather sighed, stamping his paw down on hers, stopping it where it was. He pushed the mice safely out of reach with his hind paw. "Why do you have to be so complicated?" He asked, was mostly talking to himself.
