Tess quietly worked on the ropes on the port side of the ship. She had her dirk clamped between her teeth from when she'd been using it before, but it was useless for the work she was doing now. She flicked her head so that it twisted away from her teeth and landed with a thunk, its tip buried into the wood of the ship just enough to keep it standing up straight. She gave a satisfied grunt and finished the knot she'd been tying.

Riley stood up and straightened her back with a painful pop. She grabbed her dirk and shoved it back in her belt and headed down to the captain's quarters to see if Liza was there. She stopped at the door, her knuckles pausing in mid-knock when she heard crying.
[where is xaria?]

Riley put her hand on the knob and opened the door quietly. She cleared her throat quietly to make her presence known to whomever was crying.

Ella heard the person enter. She wiped her tears away, took one last sniffle, and held her breath. If it was Milo, she didnt want him finding her like this. She backed farther into the corner, hoping not to be found.
