The young female smiled at his excuse and simply shook her head,staying quiet for a moment.Of course he impressed her,with his humor in situation like this one. She was glad he was positive tough,honestly she wasn't in the mood to deal with a grumpy bag of meat. ''It went very well actually,don't worry about it.I'm glad someone around her knows how to smile and joke.'' she slowly reached and took his hand ,before shaking it gently. "Call me Lin,linnie...anything you wish actually,you can't offend me this easy.'' Linette continued to inspect his looks,the way he acted and spoke.Nothing odd or strange.He was acting and looking like a regular human,but considering she was the guardian and there was no mistake in their pairing,Lin knew he was a shifter.A fox shifter at that,but decided not to mention it.She didn't know him ,maybe he was afraid showing his more fluffy form. She retrieved her hand and looked around with a quiet sigh. Linette couldn't help but think he was handsome,maybe to the point it was annoying her ,that's why her eyes started wandering around aimlessly. ''Let's find a place to stay for the night. I don't like the darkness.'' The female walked towards him,quickly looked in his eyes as she passed by and continued ahead. ''Oh and-'' she paused after a few steps to glance at him. ''This will be a long night,feel free to ask me stuff. I promise I won't bite.''

Evangeline's lips broke into a huge smile of relief, excitement and anxiety mixed together. "Yes, I am," she said, her tone regaining its seriousness, "And how did you just call me?" She narrowed her eyes. "You know what, never mind. Call me whatever. I think I should show you around, and then you can do whatever, but I'll go back to sleep." She said, looking into his eyes.

I'll show you the kitchen and the bedroom, and leave you til morning, alright?"

"Hey!" Said an insulted Logan, pushing her slightly. "I had to struggle! My parents didn't have any everything! Unlike you, we had find food!" He yelled at her, furiously. His inner wolf was heated, supplying his anger. Logan couldn't help it however. As a wolf shifter, Logan had a great sense of loyalty, protecting his 'pack' from dangers, both physically and verbally.

Evangeline shivered - she's learned about this. It was the wolf reacting to her provoking, and frankly, she was scared a little. She knew she'd face a situation like this, but she didn't know it'd be this soon.
...maybe she was overreacting. She opened her mouth to retort something snarky, but different words came out. "Sorry, I didn't know." She said in a hushed tone, taking his hand in response to him pushing her, and squeezing it lightly before letting it fall from her grip. "I get it, really." She smiled. "But we had to fight there, for food too, during the training. It wasn't all milk and honey." She couldn't help but add.

As quickly as he got mad, Logan calmed down. He didn't smile however and put some distance away from her. "It's fine." He said, keeping his head down. Unwanted memories kept on appearing, about back home, how he was bullied. He quickly got it out of his mind, but the thought still lingered. His inner wolf had calmed down as well but it was on edge.

Eva kept silent for the rest of the walk towards the houses, but noted something was bothering Logan. She couldn't quite tell what, so she didn't say anything. As they arrived in front of the first house, she decided to speak. "First off, you have to choose where we'll be staying. There are houses," she gestured to the one on her left, "and there's something like an apartment block. I don't want to choose because I don't really care, and both are quite similar, really. Also, we'll be living next to each other because I don't want you shifting in the middle of the night and destroying the place." She tapped her finger on her elbow. "This might be a bit overwhelming, but think of it like a boarding school. You can even make friends!" She mock-gushed.
