She started anxiously licking her paws as Nightstripe sat there, waiting.

He sat near the fresh-kill pile. He made sure every elder had their share, before taking some himself. He brought over Shadowwing a
vole and asked her if she was going to be alright hunting with Muskpaw. "You do know Muskpaw can be relatively hard to keep track of." he warned her. "His optimism is over the top, if we're not careful, he may start thinking foxes are friendly!"

He smiled at Icestar. "That's great!" he nuzzled her. "Well, will you be able to manage hunting by yourself? You may need to stay at the den, and how many will we have? I just cannot wait!" He nuzzled her even more.
