Cartridge is practically a certified genius; the only thing that's missing is the certificate.
With a stern face, brazen humor and lazy attitude, Ridge gives off the impression that he's an introverted loner.
Ridge is actually a very lively individual who enjoys wasting time by goofing off, but still remains a very reserved doll. He finds that maintaining relationships with others difficult and tends to distance himself from them when they start to bore him. Ridge doesn't have any interest in impressing others, and even if he did he'd lack the effort to do so.
He's very modest with his skills and isn't very prideful about anything, much unlike his shadow, ROM. Despite being very opinionated, he hardly ever loses his cool. (Though he can become very competitive when it comes to specific video games and puzzles...)
His vast knowledge has left him somewhat jaded and, as a result, he lounges around without a care in the world.

Jayus has really only two things on his mind most of the time: gam
ing and puns. He is an absolute geek [in a good way] and is consta
ntly buying new games, sometimes getting up at as early as four in
the morning to be the first to buy a new video game. Some would c
all it an "unhealthy obsession", but Jayus prefers "passionate hobb
y". He's pretty outgoing and extroverted,when he's not locking him
self in a dark room playing video gameswithout having gotten a wi
nk of sleep. His most used quote would have to be "that darned do
pamine", considering he wants to feel refreshed in the morning and
yet refuses to try and stop his ridiculous staying up late. His shado
w often scolds him about these sort of things, but a lot of the time
Jayus doesn't listen. His addiction also causes bags under his eyes,
which leads to the topic "are you getting enough sleep?" when he c
onverses. The answer is almost always "no". Now, besides his obvio
us obsession with gaming and his absolute "need" to have to always
carry his beloved gaming device around with him 24/7, Jayus is also
trying to master puns. If he's not playing a video game, you'll likely
catch him up late on a computer or some other device looking up "b
ad pun material". He really wants to be that one guy that has a pun
for everything, and in his eyes, the dumber it is the more people wil
l smile at it. A lot of the time, his opinion is correct. Jayus loves m
aking people laugh, and enjoys laughing himself, so he strives to be
a comedian as well as an amazing gamer. Now besides his hobbies,
Jayus is just a fun-loving guy. His goal is happiness for those around
him, which is one of the reasons he's trying to become a good come
dian in the first place. hereally cares about everyone, and his only h
appiness [besides bad jokes and great games], is other peoples'. He's
really goofy and lovable, and alot of people get attached to him eas
ily. Jayus is also childish, a troublemaker and mischievous, which can
either be a negative thing or just make him even greater. He can also
get very lazy, which isn't a very positive thing when he has mega sle
ep deprivation, but nonetheless it still is a bit cute how he snores. B
ut it can be quite annoying as well, considering it can be hard for oth
ers sleep when he's around, conked out on the couch snoring his little
heart away. All in all, Jayus is a sweet, caring guy with a sort-of char
m to him and an obsession with games and puns. He knows what to s
ay even if it doesn't seem like it, and his sleep deprivation knows no
bounds. Lovable or annoying, that's your choice!

Now on to Jayus's shadow. Her name is Epiphany.
She is a mad, smol little finch-like creature that t
hat acts very strict. She gets annoyed quite easily,
and is usually under-estimated for her extremely
petite size. Epiphany is, despite her short temper,
very smart and intelligent. Unlike Jayus she thinks
before she acts most of the time, and is like a gui
de for him in a sense. She scolds Jayus often, and
he typically ignores her, causing her to get even
more peeved, and before you know it she's blown
a fuse. She hates her extremely small size becaus
e people don't really listen or acknowledge her, d
espite her big brain. Jayus does not ignore her, he
listens to every word she has to say. Whether she'
s ranting or scolding or whatever else, he never ig
nores her. He just simply thinks she's hilariously a
dorable when she's angry, and since they're so clo
se and Jayus knows all the buttons he needs to p
ush, he can efficiently get on her nerves without
a problem. Well, a lot of people can, actually, bu
t Jayus can make her dark-gray feathers turn red
from anger [metaphorically]. Of course he never
pushes so far that Epiphany is actually truly MAD
at him, as he knows her well and never goes that
far. You'll know when the little finch is mad, thou
gh. Surprisingly, despite what others would guess,
she actually becomes really quiet and non-respon
sive instead of continuously arguing and spatting
out insults at you. Her silence actually makes the
fight worse instead of argument. After all, no one
likes the silent treatment. Jayus and her rarely ge
t into fights though, but it's not like they haven't
had them. but as time passes, they learn more ab
out each-other and know how to completely avoid
bad fights altogether, after many years of seeing
how it's started in the first place. But despite it al
l, Epiphany is a truly kind shadow, despite her an
gry outer-shell. She's just grumpy is really all.
