The bengal she-cat felt a shiver go up her spine as she woke up from her nap and thought that she caught the scent of kittypet in camp. Her ears pinned against her head as she looked around, her blue eyes had a dangerous gleam in them. She let out a hiss of annoyance as she realized that there must actually be a kittypet in camp. Her nose wrinkled in disgust as she padded from the apprentices' den to the camp entrance. Moonpaw certainly didn't feel like sticking around in camp if reeked of kittypet. The grumpy she-cat muttered a complaint under her breath disdainfully and headed out of camp with her ears folded back.

The dark orange tabby laid lazily stretched out on her side on the grassy ground outside of the apprentices' den in a patch of sunlight. Her paws were stretched out in front of her and she gave a rather nonchalant yawn. Her green eyes were squinted against the brightness of the sun and her ears folded back in annoyance as another cat nearly tripped over her.

Robin lead the way into the forest with his brother following after him. The blue-grey tom seemed much more on edge than he usually was. Baloo wouldn't even waste the energy to be worried on any other normal today, but today was different. They were going to explore in the forest that was located near their house. Some of the other cats that they'd meant had told them of wild cats that lived here, but Robin had been extremely skeptical of this. On the other hand, Baloo absolutely believed what they said, and he thought that it was a terrible idea. ''Robin, this is another one of your harebrained ideas that's going to get us into trouble. Let's just go back,'' Baloo's bright blue gaze darted around the clearing nervously as he tried to reason with his brother. ''Don't be a scaredy-kitten. There aren't any cats in the forest anyways, Baloo,'' Robin rolled his eyes as he took a few more steps forward. The orange tom noticed a tree that leaned to the side and he climbed part way up it to get a good look around the territory.

Splashleaf sighed, "Yeah, cause I'm so hard to deal with." She said sarcastically. She finally started to get up, so then her fur didn't look too messy. She sat with her tail curled around her paws as she smoothed down the fur on her shoulder.

Splashleaf looked at him for a moment. "Well, you are one of the first." She said faintly, smiling softly. After a minute, she suddenly looked away, blinking a few times. "Oh yeah! We were.. Uh, hunting! Yes! We don't want to show back up to camp with nothing!" She said, maybe a little too enthusiastically, and a but rushed. She quickly started towards the bushes.

Rowanheart blinked softly before nodding in agreement, swiftly licking at his chest fur with embarrassment before standing and following after her. He caught the scent of a mouse and swiftly moved off from Splashleaf on the hunt. With a few quick strides he swiped his paw at a leaf pile where a small brown mouse tumbled out dazed. He sank his fangs in and killed it instantly.

Splashleaf came out from the branches overhead with a robin in her mouth. She leaped gracefully down and placed it under a root. "Nice catch." She commented softly, smiling.
