Katsu chuckled and replied "I'm sure I can handle it. Sure I have work tomorrow but they wouldn't mind if I call out." He stuck his hands in his pockets feeling the bracelet once more.

Mizuki softly smiled and said "I just hope I do deserve the second chance.. I'm sure you don't give third chances.."

She nodded and frowned, leaning against the tree and letting out a sigh. "This was my house." she murmured before pulling up part of her jeans and showing her ankle. On her ankle was a large burn mark from where she was burned in the fire but there were more she'd prefer not to show.

"It's about time that I do my night time rounds for cleansing the forest. And what do you mean call out?" she questioned, tilting her head slightly.

"Call out.. Like cancel for the day without trouble." Katsu said feeling a little grim as being shooed out. He looked at the gate and said "Guess that's my queue to go huh?"

"You can go. Unless you'd like to see what a dark spirit looks like." she said with a small chuckle before slipping her mask back on. Dark spirits could possibly look like anything.. even a helpless old lady but she could see these spirits due to her two different colored eyes, the gray one being able to see dark spirits and the blue is good spirits. People without this gift cannot see spirits unless gifted vision by a spirit, such as Sayuri.

"What dangers do they threaten a mortal such as myself?" Katsu questioned Sayuri as he turned to look at her again.

"Certain spirits possess the ability to harm human beings. You can even be possessed by spirits and your body will be taken over." she said and looked at him through her mask.

"Do you want me to stay with you?" Katsu asked and parted his lips for a yawn. He wasn't sure if he could stay all night but a little bit would be cool.

Kit smiled. "Hey, I don't give up on people. Got that?" He asked, a warm feeling going through him. Was that..happiness?

Mike's eyes widened. "Oh I'm sorry.." He muttered, his eyes embarrassed. "This was just the best place to heal and I felt like I was dying and.." He tried to cover up himself blushing.

Mizuki blinked, kind of shocked for a moment before nodding. "I understand. I... Like it? I dunno if there's a proper word for that." Mizuki said and thumped her tail gently against the bed.
