I pick up my pretty girl and cuddle her in my arms. I kiss her on the foreheads before I rub her behind her ears. I begin to softly sing her a song as I think of a name for her.

(Also, am I doing the spoiling right? Is this what we are meant to do? One other think I can't get on Oekaki to add items, that Wong count against me will it?)

I suddenly stopped singing as a name popped into my head. The song had remind me of angels and this little Kitty was my angel. "Feathered Soul" I whispered. The name seemed so perfect. It matched her feathery soft fur and her kind, warm soul. I smiled as I let Feathered Soul down to feed her. I poured her Purina brand cat food into her small bowl. I set it down on the ground and watched her eat.

I turned and opened a drawer. I had a surprise for my Kitty. New toys, accessories, and a bed.

I dropped several rabbit-furred mice on the floor and watched as FeatheredSoul came over to investigate. She breathed in deeply, the scent of the rodent. Her tail twitched and I noticed that her eyes had grown wide with excitement. She reached a paw out and gingerly pawed at the toy. Then she wiggled her haunches and darted foreward, batting the mouse from side to side and proceeded to chase it across the floor. I bit back my laughter, afraid that any notice would startle her into stopping.

I let out a chuckles as FeatheredSoul suddenly plopped down on the ground with no warning. I turned and lifted the next thing out of the drawer. A pretty pink and blue leather collar with a small but loud bell attached to it. I beckoned her over with a tasty salmon flavored treat. After one whiff, FeatheredSoul was running towards me. She let out a meow when I didn't give her the treat straight away. A dropped it next to her paws and, as she ate, I slipped the collar around her neck. Of course it took me a few times before getting the sizing right. "Perfect." I finally sighed with content as the collar for sniffly around her neck.

Personality: She is a happy-go-lucky type of cat. She loves to run and play and doesn't give a mouse tail if someone says something about her. She enjoys life. She can be serious when she needs to be. On those rare occasions, you had better watch out, because she knows exactly how to use those claws of hers.
Kin: unknown.
Mate: A tuxedo tom named ____?
Kits: Blue(soul)- a noble blue shecat with deep blue eyes, and Frost(feather)- a lean black and white shecat with a fluffy tail and sparkling blue eyes.
History: Was born on the streets in twoleg place. She eventually ended up in the home of young adult female twoleg and they shared a strong bond. Then disaster hit. A devastating fire raged through several of the houses, including hers and her mate's. She and her mate fled into the trees, seperated from their twolegs forever. She gave birth to her kits a few days later and they made their home in a forest far from their old home and where other loners lived as well. After her mate was killed by a fox, she raised her kits on her own.

I again looked in my drawer. I may have been a little over zealous at the pet store. I smirked at the thought. I never really spent much on myself, but it seemed like at the money I saved was suddenly gone after a single visit to the local Petco, Petsmart, or Upco.

In the drawer I still had a feathered wand, an A-Door-able (a little bird toy that hangs from a door frame on a bungee cord), a laser pointer, a remote control mouse, Pom poms, an assortment of balls, and her new bed.

We didn't have time to play with them all today, so I settled for the feather wand. I picked it up and shut the drawer again. I went into the living room and sat down the couch. I could hear the pitter patter of FeatheredSoul's paws as she followed me. I waved the wand infront of her, enticingly. It didn't take her long before she began waving her paws wildly as she tried to get the wand.

I blinked open my eyes to find myself staring at the ceiling of my bedroom. Something warm pressed against my side. I turned my head to see FeatheredSoul curled up in a ball, her long fur making her look like a giant fuzzy Pom Pom. Last night, she had finally managed to grab the feathers and in her teeth ań pull it out of my hand. She dragged it across the floor to a corner in the room, where she appeared to have claimed as her own. This where I put her bed.

FeatheredSoul's ear flicked and she raised her head as if sensing that I was now awake. I lifted my hand and scratched her under her chin. She purred. My hand moved to her back and I began rubbing her back and forth. She slowly uncurled from her ball and stretched out, letting out a tiny little moan as she stretched to her fullest.
