The swamp is no place for any cat, deadly tides, predators and limited food it would seem harsh and unforgiving, uninhabitable. But there is a myth, that cats do live in these dangerous conditions, living among the trees. The fabled wild cats of Leafclan, cats with no twolegs, who know medicine, fighting, hunting, and how to survive in their habitat. Loners and rouges are said to venture into the flooded woodland and go mad, or be picked off by shadows in a flash of claws and teeth. Some say they see the cats, others say it is a myth. Despite the danger, the myth and the threat, will you be brave enough to enter this swamp?
And will you be strong enough to survive?
Founded by Leaf these warriors are stubborn and tough, fighting to survive in their harsh home. They live among the swamp, and are situated between Thornclan and Hopeclan.
Territory consist of the main dense swamp and a wide open grassland, these cats are all skilled in swimming and climbing, making their home among the trees to avoid the often deadly current of the swamp. Although small in number they are excellent at sneak attack, most at home high above the heads of forest clan cats.
With their small numbers and struggle to survive Leafclan tends to stay out of alliances, preferring to care for their own and let Hopeclan and Thornclan solve their own problems.
Leader; Reedstar, a red brown she cat with 9 lives. Skittish and un-trusting she keeps to herself, soft spoken and surprised by her rank.
Deputy; Emberflight, very serious tabby tom who is harsh on the outside but loyal and considerate to his clan and thier needs.
Medicine Cat; Oakflower, a ginger and grey patched tabby she cat. Rather anti-social and mistrusting. She doesn't talk much and spends most of her time gathering herbs. Deep down though she is motherly and caring.
Medicine Cat Apprentice; Lilypaw, a fluffy calico she cat. Carefree and open she is the opposite of her mentor, very friendly and approachable. Her weakness is she can be too trusting (open for forbidden romance)
Currently there are no bans or strikes in Leafclan.

But Oakflower and Reedstar have agreed not to share it with the other clans.

Ashstar the previous leader has died, leaving Reedtail his deputy as leader.
Reedstar has received all of her 9 lives.
Reedstar named Emberflight as deputy.
Flood waters are high but prey is plentiful, Leafclan is thriving.
