Super mario sunshine is a platformer. And honestly one of my favourite Mario titles, even though any tunnel level for me is too impossible. Though I can be quite the angry gamer.

Okay, yeah platformer makes more sense. I couldn't categorize it at first. It's one of my favorite games as well, rigt next to Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. I wish they made a Sunshine 2 instead of Galaxy...

Super Mario Sunshine is certainly one of my favorite Mario titles. I would love for it to finally get the remake it deserves

If they ever remake Sunshine, whatever system it is, I'm getting it. For the Oculus Rift? Getting it. Lol but honestly, I've been hoping for a remake for so long. I hope they do sometime, and if it's NX I hope the NX turns out well so it'll be just as great as the original. I have high hopes for the NX because that's my Nintendo bias, but who knows. I'm praying for a remake regardless what system

I feel like the oddball here. .-. I never owned Sunshine, just SSBM and Mario Kart: Double Dash!! I've seen gameplay of it though, and it really does look fun. If Wii U gets GameCube virtual console, I'm game, thats for sure.

Do you own a GC console still? It's definitely worth picking up the game from eBay or something.

It's a shame the gamecube sold so badly with how fun all the games were on it.
we have two disks of double dash and we literally played it so much the first one shattered in the middle.
I genuinely love that game.
I remember it better than highschool

I feel like the amount of fun games on the GC is because of its poor sales, like an attempt to better the sales. Maybe? I don't know. That's how I always felt about the Wii U before I had it.

I loved the dual characters aspect of DD. It was unique and makes it easier for me to throw items forwards or backwards...In the newer versions I'm terrible at guaranteeing which way it goes. I mean there's really no other unique features other than that, but something about DD rates it high on my list. Maybe because of how big of a Baby Park and Daisy Cruiser fan I am...

Now I'm off on a whole different topic. I'd love to see something focused around Daisy. She's never in the majority of the games even as a cameo, only in Mario Kart really. I mean in SSB4, she isn't even a character, just a costume for Peach...And in Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door, she wasn't the princess Luigi was described as saving in the journals, it was Princess Eclair... Perhaps they haven't made a game because Daisy isn't popular, but she's almost forgotten about. The only character I hope everyone forgets is Birdo, but not Daisy.

Daisy is a.... controversial character for me. Probably because we share the same first name and I've never liked mine much. It always resulted in teasing.
I don't really know when or how she came into the franchise but she's always been a constant for me? Her voice is a little harsh but I've never disliked her.
Not that this ever stopped me choosing her costume for Bayonetta when I was playing through it for the fourth time.
That....That could be my bowser bias talking though, it turns her wicked weaves into Bowser's arms and legs it's so silly.
