xxxxVierah was nothing special, just a small kitten, born in a large world. She had no special talents, her hunting ability was not extraordinary, nothing about her really made her stand out, and her home life was just as plain. The other siblings all had something different, whether they were adorable, the best story tellers, it didn't matter, they all had something different and amazing about them. While Vierah didn't. She was average, and confused, sure other kittens admired her for her beauty but it never made her feel beautiful, they'd say she was smart, but she'd brush it aside. She wasn't beautiful, she wasn't smart. She was just Vierah. Nothing more but boring, hurt Vierah.
From the moment she could catch the mice that wandered into her home, she'd be up and out, trying to be anything she could, but finding nothing, nothing was different and it hurt her more and more with each day. Everything was always the same. Was she destined to be - just some cat? Was she never going to be special? It wasn't fair.
This troubled her dearly, so much so that she found herself tossing in her asleep, Vierah could not understand why were her siblings were blessed with their own attributes and she was not. Was she not special too? Would she ever be special? Everyone always complains about how being different was bad and awful, but for those cats who aren't special, it's far worse. "I'm always some dumb background character! Why couldn't it be about me for once, about how I stand out. About how I fit in...do I fit in?" Vierah was torn in two ways and as she grew older, she began to rebel against the other cats and her mother, she was so stubborn and frustrated. She'd occasionally escape into the forest or in back allies, hoping that her future would lead her somewhere. And one day, it did. Vierah climbed her way onto the roof of a house one night, her orange eyes glistening to the shimmering moonlight, her pelt caressed with the coolness of the wind, as her ears flicked around, nothing out of the usual, did she hear a sound. It was a mouse and instantly her instincts kicked in. Vierah hadn't been eating in the house anymore and barely visited her family, only for the shelter and warmth, which her mother usually scorned her for but she'd ignore it anyways. "It's not your life." She'd reply, flicking her tail as she usually did when she was unsure, a piece of her dying inside.
The cat thought back at this and sighed, narrowing her eyes firmly before hoping down to the floor to stalk after her prey, one paw after another, she kept a low profile and stared deeply at the mouse. It squeaked unknowingly, grooming itself when suddenly - BAM! It jolted out of sight and Vierah lifted her head with a huff, something had scared it away...? "Oh well. I wasn't really wanting mouse anyway..." She told herself, turning to stand face to face with a dark figure, the creature's shadow loomed over her and rumbling sounded in its throat, slobber dribbled down to the floor, Vierah glanced at it before hunching her back with her muzzle wrinkling defensively. "Stay back." The monster did not reply. Then without warning, it lunged and the cat dove under it, her fur brushing up against its underside as it came over her, everything passed by so slowly. Her widened eyes gawked as it went over, then jerked around and cracked its muzzle apart. Seeing the piercing white fangs, Vierah yowled and lurched backwards with her paws ready to attack, but it wouldn't do much. She had been declawed as a kitten and backing up, her rump had touched the side of a towering wall, Vierah's gut sunk in her stomach. She was cornered. "Rats." Hissed the cat, her fur growing further on end as the beast dove again, she struck its muzzle with a screech. Is this how I'm going to go? She asked herself, hitting its face again with her soft paws, this was not going anywhere. It'll tear me apart in seconds. Her ears were pulled back, she desperately pranced about to avoid the attacks, hitting its face, trying to get around the large animal but in vein. She pulled back her cheeks to reveal her fangs as she hissed, when suddenly, an idea struck her, Vierah acted as if she was going to dash under its legs, which made the animal lower its head, then she quickly took action. Bolting up and over its head, along its back, she leaped into the air, nabbing the edge of the wall, and pulled herself up and over. Listening to the maddened sounds of the creature as it flailed around to get her, the cat gave a real smile, one she hadn't done in many moons. No ordinary cat could have thought that quickly and dodged all those attacks, maybe - just maybe, she was more than just some ordinary cat. "Was that me?" Vierah murmured, feeling proud in herself for a first. "I spent my whole life trying to fit in when really, I didn't need to. I am beautiful and smart like the other cats said." Vierah furrowed her eyebrows. "Maybe my siblings are better at some things than me, but there'll always be someone better than everyone in this world. I need to stop putting myself down and start realizing just how great I am, how great everyone is. Because we're all different." She lifted her head. "And I know now where I belong." Vierah thought back to the warm house, her mother scorning her for not eating, her pesky siblings. She missed it. Not knowing just how much she loved that place until she thought back, the cat couldn't help it. Hot tears welled up in her eyes and a longing grew in her heart.
"I need to go home."

Name: Josephine
Gender: Female
Her Story: Josephine clambered out of the car excitedly, bounding around in the rest stop parking lot. "Stay close." One of the people warned as they went inside. Josephine mewed contemptuously. What, did they think she'd get lost? The people went inside and Josephine began to explore. She found a big pile of blankets in the back of a nearby truck, curled up and went to sleep. She was awoken by a sudden jolt. The truck had stopped moving. Wait. The truck wasn't supposed to move! She sprang up, looking around. She wasn't at the rest stop any more. She was in the middle of the woods!! Hearing voices, she climbed out of the truck and hid in the trees. Suddenly, she heard another cat behind her. "Hello, I'm Choco." The voice said. She whirled around to face a red tom who was smiling. "Lost?" he asked. She nodded mutely. "Lots of cats get lost here, follow me, I'll show you somewhere safe."

Her Story:
As a full grown cat sprinkle turned and fled towards the misty forest she could see nothing accept fog.
She looked and shivered as a cold breeze hit her face saddened by her darkened memory she tried hiding. But as the wind grew colder in fiercer she padded looking for shelter then the wind grew so fierce it blew her over and started to rain. She sneezed and shooked her pelt still darkened by her memories she had found a abandoned twoleg nest and stayed there. When she woke up she cleaned her pelt and sighed she walked deeper into the fog and found some prey she sighed only catching a mouse. It started pouring down rain she when she had finished unhappy again she fled from the rain into the deepest forest part there she was safe from the rain. She was a bit unhappy about little prey but she found enough to fill her up.

Name: Bellator//Bella (means solider in Latin)
Gender: Female
Her Story:
Bella yawned and stretched her front legs on her comfortable bed, the humans were up again banging on stuff and shouting across the room, Bella usually didn't mind but today was different, they seemed to be tearing the house apart. Even the kids, they were usual gone during the day. Annoyed Bella stood up and walked toward the door that led outside, no matter how hard she tried only the humans could open it so she sat there looking up expectantly at them but no one noticed her. She meowed loudly still they ran by shouting at each other and tearing the den apart. Bella twitched her tail annoyed and walked to the other door, this one was open and the humans were running in and out of it throwing things into a big moving machine that was sitting at the front of the nest. Bella quickly ran out, barely dodging the Male human. She stepped into the garage and then was startled by barking, she knew the dogs were always in their cadges but they still frightened her, she bolted out and was onto the hard black ground where the machines stayed on. She walked past a couple of dens till she got to a light brown one she looked around and say in the grass lying in the shade a black tom with a white chest and paws, a brilliant silver tabby with unusual blue eyes and two tortoiseshells, a tom and a girl. They spotted Bella approach and meowed their greeting, "What took you so long Bellator?" questioned the silver tabby. Bella sighed in annoyance and sat down. “My humans are so stupid; they don't know when to open the door! You are lucky, Misty; you have your own private door!" Misty purred in amusement and turned to the black tom. "I told you so! I knew just by the way Bella was walking she was annoyed! You owe me your wet food tonight Boots!" Boots rolled his eyes. “I never agreed to that!" Boots retorted. The tortoiseshell tom opened his eyes and hissed at them, "Quite bickering you sound like kittens! “The female tortoiseshell prodded her brother with her paw, "Don't mind Eclipse, he is just upset i tackled him today and i pinned him down!" He twitched his ears. "Callie i was half asleep that doesn't count!" he hissed. “Now you are starting to sound like Boots!" Bella purred and everyone laughed except Eclipse. They stayed there till the sun started to set and they started to pad off back towards there den saying their goodbyes. Bella padded down the street and saw all the machines at the front of the den were gone. She checked the back door and it was dark inside, there was no side of the humans and the den was empty. Bella had an idea, sometimes the humans took the dogs out into the forest. She dashed into the woods trying to pick up a trail but found nothing, she searched and searched and then it was almost dark. She sighed and started to head back to the den but realized she didn't know where she was. She had never traveled this far into the woods before, scarred Bella ran frantically around trying to find her way back. Then she heard a noise behind her and she quickly turned around. A big Bengal tom appeared from a tunnel that led into the ground. There were scars all across his pelt and his left ear was torn. However he looked up at Bellator with w friendly smile. "I have been watching you for some time, are you lost?" Bella twitched her tail uneasily. "Yes i am trying to find my humans and my den." She replied. The tom nodded, "i know where that is, but you won’t get there in time it is to dark, come with me i know a safe place and i will show you it tomorrow, my name is Thrush by the way." Bella had a weird feeling that she should trust him, "I am Bellator, or just Bella." The tom nodded again and led her into the tunnel that went underground. in the morning Thrush kept her promise and showed her the way back, Bella sat on the fence all day but she never saw her humans, she did that for many weeks, waiting for her humans and staying with Thrush who was kind to her and taught her how to hunt. Eventually she gave up waiting for her humans and fell in love with Thrush and had five kits. Bellator never saw her humans again.
