I should give them as much good news as possible so that they calm down from the Deathshade thing, a bit. Perhaps it would be best if I didn't tell them about Dagger and Flamepaw being my kits. That's too much big news in one day. Faithstar twitched her ears, her brown eye and blue eye scanning the crowd of cats.
"As all of you know, Silverstrike has been expecting kits for quite a while. I'm sure many of you had heard her have to go into the nursery to begin kitting them, so her kits have been born. Silverstrike may share as much information as she wishes about them when she feels ready to come out of the nursery," announced the sandy-pelted she-cat.
"Also, it will be a full-moon at moon-high tonight. We will meet with our bordering clans, LeafClan and ThornClan. When this meeting is dismissed, Nightwing and I will bring Emeraldsky, the newest apprentices and warriors, and a few other clan members of our choice."LarkwillowShe-Cat ~ 16 moons ~ Warrior ~ Tags: Clan Meeting/OpenLarkwillow's heart lightened when Faithstar mentioned the gathering with their two new bordering clans. BoneClan had disbanded a while ago, thank StarClan, but HopeClan still had ThornClan and LeafClan at their borders. Neither of the clans posed the same threat as Darkness's band of rogues had, but HopeClan would still defend their borders with all their strength.
My first fathering as a Warrior, she thought, silver pelt tingling in excitement.
I can't wait! Thornfang, Antclaw, and my niece and nephew will be coming, too! Larkwillow smiled, her paws itching to run out of camp and go straight to the gathering-place. She remained seated, only half-listening to what else Faithstar said because she was too excited to go.
It's a shame Thrushpaw won't be able to come. And I assume that Deathshade won't be invited, either. Larkwillow let out a small sigh, letting a little grief flood into her before it was pushed away by giddy excitement.

At least Applepaw and Ivypaw will be able to enjoy their first gathering as apprentices, he thought, swishing his tail along the ground.
I hope that Ivypaw doesn't have too much trouble with the other clan's apprentices, being mute and all. The black she-cat found a place to rest her borage next to the cobwebs, and she hen turned around, quickly padding towards the medicine cat again. She seated herself next to Emeraldsky, and she watched the leader speak, listening carefully.
"A gathering?" she whispered to Emeraldsky.
"You're going to a gathering? What are those?"
Lionlight sighed, watching Lightningpaw go off to comfort Sunpaw.
"None of us agree with this," he whispered to himself, green eyes darkening in grief and fear.
"Deathshade has already been tainted with evil. Him being confined to the elder's den will stop the worst from happening. It's a shame we can't make the dark future ahead go away..." Lionlight looked at Mossheart, smiling sympathetically at her.
She must be so downhearted by this. Joykit and Thunderkit, too. They had the power of choice in whether Deathshade would train as an apprentice or not, and they had to make a decision that broke their hearts. Just so that HopeClan would be a bit better off. Lionlight shook his head staring at his paws.
"What have we come to?" he whispered grimly. In attempt to push away the dark thoughts, he turned to look at the pool. He saw Nightwing and Swanfoot together, a pang of jealousy rushing through him.
The final decision will be hers. She'll choose best for herself, he thought, repeating the words Hopestar first told him when he came to join StarClan.
All I should want is for Swanfoot to be happy, right? he thought, trying his hardest to believe what he was telling himself.
Nightwing loves her so much. And he's alive. Oh, Swanfoot... I love you so much but it seems as if all the odds are against us. Whether or not you choose to return Nightwing's affection is up to you. But I'll always be there to look out for you.(Lionlight's not actually telling Swanfoot that. He's just saying it in his thoughts, pretending that he's talking to Swanfoot 'cause he's a creep. If I end up going to the gathering I'll tell you everything that Wildstar and Ashstar announced, okay?"(I know Ashstar has died because his roleplayer quit, but I'm assuming that HopeClan and ThornClan wouldn't know that, so I'm making Leaftail think that Ashstar is the current leader for LeafClan.)
