Sail the Seas (Pirate RP Needs Members!)

"The Navy, is it?" said Milo, waving a spoon. "I've enough scars from their ilk, thank you very much. I think I'll stick to my trustworthy pirates, where they don't boot me into the mud for looking at them wrong." The boy waved a hand, trying to clear the smoke from the kitchen. "By the Ravens, how long does it take for skilly and duff to burn?" He went back into the kitchen, and a few moments later there was another small explosion, from which a charred Milo Chance emerged. "Whoa..." he said, looking at the wall as if he'd never seen it before. "Are those butterflies new, or what?" He blinked couple of times, then staggered off towards the crew's quarters. "I'm going to bed. I've had enough cooking for one night. There might still be something edible in there, if you care to look."

Xaria coughed, half because of the smoke and half because she wanted to hide her laughter. A hand covered her mouth as she regained her composure. Her sea green eyes sparkled with mirth. She looked at Ingo. "Shall we go in?"

Ingo raised her eyebrows and ventured into the kitchen, clearing the smoke with her hands, everthing in there was cremated. She put it all to one side, "Right" she said. She had no idea how to cook but thought she might as well give it a try. She got some leftover veg and meat bits put them in a pot with some water. She boiled it all up to make some soupy stew. Ingo added some random herbs that she found in the kitchen and stirred it in the stew. "Ta da!" she came out brandishing a ladle and some bowls. "Dinner is served" She said very loudly so that if anyone wanted some they could come and get some. She tried some herself and was pleased, the flavours worked well and the overall texture wasn't half bad.
She gave a bowl to Xaria too.

Xaria grinned, ladling some into her bowl carefully, not wanting to spill any or burn herself on the hot liquid. She sat down to eat, sipping daintily. She rolled her eyes at herself and cursed. "Stupid etiquette lessons..." She muttered.

"Is the food ok? I've never cooked before so... if it's really bad i'm sorry"

"It tastes great." Xaria reassured with a smile and taking another dainty sip. She grimaced, unable to shake off the habit. She sighed, resigning herself to the fact that old habits die hard.

"You eat so politely, I can't do anything like that, on the streets you just eat what you get and eat it fast" Ingo said, though she knew Xaria wished she wasn't so polite Ingo couldn't help admiring the daintiness of Xaria.

Xaria made a face. "These lessons came with huge problems though, remember? I'd rather eat like you." She said quietly, stirring her soup slightly before continuing to eat.

"I know, I'm sorry, but you're here now and you never have to see your uncle ever again"

(( hey, as much as i love this rp! i think i'm going to quit, the time difference is too much...everbody is on at like 12 at night and i can never keep up...sorry....i'll pop in now and again...just to see what all the chari's are up to and have a good laugh. ))
