is 1 '08 uncommon (rerelease) really worth 9 '10 uncommons(advents)?

Oh my. Definatly unfair to you. I'd say 3-4 uncommons would have been good enough.

It's unfair to them. Re-release or not makes no difference on value.

There is no hard and fast rule about "This many of this = this". It is contingent upon what both sides are offering.

Personally, if someone offered me 9 '10 uncommons for one of my '08s, I'd cancel without thinking about it.
