Thank you! Nope, plagg, you're not the only one who likes him! I think I dislike him more from the way the fans make him seem than how he really is--we don't know much about him and never will. I re-watched the anime video, and I actually did find it cool. It's amazing how close the two versions are, even though the anime version was still only in development! They had the mime, the pharaoh, Mr. Pigeon, the exact same-looking designs for the kwamis, etc. Also, Hawk Moth looked epic in it!
I really liked the way Felix was slated to like her for her miraculous, but they obviously couldn't have gotten their target audience (of kids) with more "deep" plotlines like that. Which stinks. As a writer, I love when shows aren't afraid to feel, and when they're not afraid to rise to the challenge. Miraculous can only get close to toeing the line because they're a kid show, unless they have really talented writers. Sometimes television channels are too limiting in their content.

What do you guys think about the theme songs? I despise the English version ("it's Ladybug, jumpin' above" and "I am a cat, just hangin' out" are some of the worst offenders), but the English alt version--deemed too romantic to be the official--was alright. I think they should have mixed the official verses with the alt chorus and it would have been fine!
The French version is the best, and my favorite. Adrien's voice is really amazing in it. I've always had an interest in learning French, but when I first watched Miraculous with my friend and sister two months ago, we listened to the French theme song, and I sang along and faked the pronunciation. I had so much fun I'm finally learning French.
Then there's the Korean version. I don't particularly like it, even though I enjoy Kpop. Mainly I don't like the singing or dancing for it, and wish it had been a collab between a boy and a girl instead of an all-girl group.
