"Gross," muttered Milo, going back up to the deck and fetching a mop and bucket. The bucket he handed to Ella, saying, "If you puke again, get it in there." Then he sloshed a bucket of water on the floor and began mopping, grunting angrily as soapy water got on his shirt. Pausing for a moment, he peeled off the sodden garment and laid it out to dry on the edge of his bunk. Then he went back to mopping, his wet black hair falling over his green eyes.

Patric blushed slightly, unused to compliments, and sat down to eat.

"Sorry." Ella said. She sat up and looked around. She got up and went to a pile of clothes, but couldnt find any that would fit him so she sat back down. She founderself staring at his abs, but looked away quickly.

Milo took the shirt and thanked her, then put it on and grimaced slightly at the... well, mostly just at the whiteness of it. As a former thief, he would never have dared to wear anything other than black or the occasional gray. But, it was a shirt, and it was clean, so he stopped his grumble and went back to mopping.

Milo looked up and brushed his hair out of his eyes, only to catch Ella staring at him. "What are you doing?" he asked with a chuckle, raising an eyebrow at her. He stood and leaned against the mop, placing one elbow in the crook of the other so he wouldn't unbalance and make a fool of himself.

"Just staring off into space." Ella said, rather embarrassed. (sp?) She pulled her hair back into a pony-tail, just in case her lunch decided to come up.

"Alright," said Milo, but the end was inflected, almost like a vague question. He finished mopping and rummaged in his bag for a gray shirt- it wasn't exactly clean, but it was dry- and went up on deck to hang his wet black shirt from the rigging.

Ella laid back down, figuring this would help her stomach a little. She wiped the new layer of sweat off her forehead (sp?) and closed her eyes.
