Ɗσνєу and Calico - 1x1 Marauder's Era (Snape/OC)

(It's fine I can only post once or twice a day...on good days, otherwise its might be every other day or so. I have a newborn, and wife and mother duties to attend too, but I will try to post as often as I can - its why i usually post at night...its easier.

Olivia listened to his words and nodded carefully, it seemed to fascinating that there were ghosts and the paintings here were actually alive and could move and talk on there own. She never remember Beauxbatons having anything like that, either that or she never got to see them. At his questioned she paused rocking on her heels as she thought about it for a couple minutes. "I'd like to see all the classrooms, especially so I can start memorizing them all for when classes start back after Christmas break" she replied before clasping her hands together behind her back.

Severus nodded curtly, "Alright.. He turned and started down the hall. His cloak flowing out behind him as he started striding toward the classrooms. More out of curiosity, rather than interest, he asked, "What classes are you taking this year?" His black eyes were straight ahead, wanting to get this tour done and over. Still don't understand why I had to do this...what is Dumbledore playing at!?

(Sorry for the lack of posting, Been really busy and then I went into a mourning for David Bowie, Alan Rickman, and a few other. This year in the famous person world is really sucking. Also my next post will be longer, I Promise.)

Olivia fell silent as she turned her attention up to the ceiling, trying to recall the classes she was taking this year. "Well I'm taking Charms, Potions, Transfiguration, Herbology, Defense Against the Dark Arts, History of Magic, Astrology, Care of Magical Creatures, and Divination" She chirped happily. She was actually really excited to get started with all these classes, even though she'd probably be a bit behind she's be able to catch up quickly. She turned her attention towards Severus as she followed after him through the halls. "So then, where shall we start first?

(It is quite alright, I know how important a break to mourn can be. It's really sad hearing so many famous people dying of cancer. It's such a horrible way to go)

(I don't actually remember where all the classrooms are, so I may have to just to a "general" tour, hope thats ok)

Severus inwardly groaned to himself, Why is she so chipper?. He spoke aloud, "Well, this way then, lets get started..." He started walking down the hall, striding at a long legged pace, not caring whether she kept up or not. As Severus was showing her around Hogwarts, explaining where the different classrooms were, he suddenly heard his name being called, he cringed before he realized who is it.

"Severus!", a long haired blonde can bounding toward Severus and the new girl. "Ello! How are you, Severus?" As she swept in for a hug from the black haired Slytherin. Severus cracked a half of smile and just barely hugged the blonde back, "Hello, Calico." He mumbled.

The blonde girl stepped back and smiled at the girl that was with Severus and held out her hand, "Hello mate, my name's Calico; I'm a Gryffindor what is your name?" Calico was wearing her Gryffindor Scarf around her waist, had her wand tucked in it like a sword and, oh yeah, she was barefoot.

(I also admire the heck out of Bowie and Rickman! so it really hit me... I've been a fan of both since I was a little girl.
Also I hope I am not making Snape too crass, I just feel he would have a snarky demeanor...)

Olivia quickly sauntered after him as he walked through the school. She was so fascinated by this school and was quite excited to start classes after winter break. After mentally marking where all the class rooms were so when she did start up in the spring she'd be able to get to all her classes in time. The white haired girl perked up at the sudden sound of someone else calling Severus's name before seeing a blonde haired girl ran towards them greeting Severus. Olivia smile figuring she was one of Severus's friends finding it sweet and cool how she greeted him. "Hello there!" She greeted to the girl once she introduced herself. "Olivia Bowens, Ravenclaw!" She replied with a bright smile as she stretched out her hand to shake hers in greeting.

(No, no he's actually really well in character and it's perfect!)

The blonde smiled wider, "Nice to meet you, Olivia from Ravenclaw!" shaking it firmly. Calico dropped her hand and address both Hogwarts students, "So what are you two doing on the first day of break?". She tighten her scarf around her waist as she looked at them both curiously.

(I'm sooooo sorry, I've been so busy this week and school has been hectic and I haven't had any free time. I'm so sorry, I promise after this week I'll be on more frequently)

Olivia smiled brightly and shook her hand, "Hello Calico from Gryffindor" she greeted with a content chirp. She took a step back from the blonde as she glanced at Severus. Hearing the question she turned her attention back to her and frowned as she bit the inside of her cheek. "Just getting to learn where everything is and enjoying how beautiful this place is" she replied as she rocked on her heels.

Calico smiled at Olivia, "Oh Hogwarts is a beautiful place! I bet even Sev here could agree, huh?"

Severus scowled at the oddball blonde for putting him on the spot, "Yes Calico, I would agree. Now if you will excuse us, I have to show Olivia the rest of the castle so I can get back to the things I need to do."

Calico bounced from one foot to the other, "As in reading and perfecting your skills?" She smirked at Severus. The Slytherin boy scowled, if possible even moreso at Calico.
