NEKOHOMI ADOPTS
WHAT ARE THEY?
nekohomi are the result of magical experimentation on domestic felines gone awry some decades ago. they were designed to be the perfect companion - obedient, good-tempered, fluffy, and cuddly as can be - but in the time since their creation, things have gone a little haywire. in an odd event of rapid evolution, their intelligence now rivals if not surpasses that of humans, and the magical capabilities each one possesses makes most hesitant to try and tame a nekohomi of their own.
very few nekohomi willingly seek out human companionship - those that do are often kept as servants, pets, or forced into illegal professions such as thievery. those that do seek out humans are very hesitant to form bonds. though nekohomi are very distrusting and scared of humans, if you manage to get one to like you, you'll have a lifelong companion.
they stand around 3-4 feet tall, and possess varying magical capabilities - some can do no more than produce a bright light, while others can summon hellish firestorms or transfigure themselves into a feral form for a while. it is unknown why all nekohomi practice some form of magic - most suspect it's due to their tampered DNA. they're believed to have a lifespan around the same as an average human.
most live in small settlements and villages outside of human towns.
RULES & GUIDELINES
+ show respect and kindness towards everyone! rudeness will result in strikes and eventually bans, depending on the severity.
+ do not ask for a custom, or to be staff.
+ you may own 5 nekohomi. staff can own 7, unless i give them permission to have more. c:
+ staff may make 2 customs for themselves, or give one or both custom slots to a friend.
+ do not sell or trade your nekohomi. PM me if you would like to readopt them, or give them away.
+ do not PM people begging for a nekohomi. you will get a strike/ban depending on the severity, if a member of staff finds out.
+ nekohomi can be any gender, sexuality, etc. and nekohomi of any gender can breed (when and if that becomes available, that is!)
+ roleplay is highly encouraged! i always imagined nekos as living in a medieval fantasy setting, but youre free to do whatever.
+ i reserve the right to revoke and readopt your nekos should you be banned. no other members of staff may do this.
