Leafies are cute, fluffy looking fox-like creatures which have numerous leaves on their bodies to help them camouflage from prey and predators. They have incredibly large ears, slender eyes and a very thin but muscular tail which, on the end, has one giant leaf. This leaf holds the memories and thoughts of the Leafies. It is the source of them, their appearance, their personalities. In other words, this precious leaf is a Leafie's soul. It cannot be torn, broken or damaged in any way. When the Leafie passes on, the giant leaf possessed by it will fall from its tail into the soil below and it will grow slowly but surely into a tall tree. After years and years of growing, the tree will eventually drop its first leaf. This leaf creates a new Leafie, and that's how the life cycle of a Leafie goes.
